Canal bridge, traffic noise

The spot by the bridge is rather dark and uninviting. We drove a few hundred metres farther along the road to a small rise, where we watched the sunset in the meadow. Quite a lot of car traffic during the day. Only suitable for completely self-sufficient motorhomes, as there is no toilet or waste disposal. Please take everything with you.✦Translating

In our opinion the small parking just below the bridge is not good at all. It's way too noisy. But if you continue driving that paved road you'll soon find some spots right next to the road which are better. Even it seems like a road with little to no traffic, there were quite a lot of cars coming and going. Some nice walks on the banks of the canal and sure you'll see and hear many canal boats.

A little farther on, on the right, we stopped in the middle of nature. Not a soul around.✦Translating

You can park here by the bridge or in a lay-by along the lightly trafficked road. There were only a few pedestrians and cyclists in early November, and apparently nobody was bothered by me. There is no rubbish bin, so please take your rubbish with you. You should be completely self-sufficient. You can shop in Bienenbüttel by bicycle.✦Translating
