Been here?
Quiet gravel parking area right on Lake Lugano, next to a well-liked restaurant (closed Thursdays) and a small beach for swimming and dog walks. Toilets on site (no running water in them, and can be dirty). A paid tariff of about 6-7 CHF/24h applies daytime (roughly 7am-7pm, free overnight), paid via app or meter. Despite the listing, police and security regularly move campers on or fine them for overnighting, especially at night - treat it as day-use parking rather than a guaranteed overnight spot. Flat, easy access, 10 minutes' walk to the train and Ponte Tresa's Saturday market.

Not for overnight stays. In April 2024, during our first camper trip, the police woke us at around 10 pm by knocking loudly and sent us away, saying that overnight stays were not allowed here. It was a bit of a shock for our first night.Translating
Absolutely excellent and very peaceful, highly recommended. The friendly restaurant opposite serves wonderful food at lunchtime and in the evening. Not expensive by Swiss standards either. The fee is 7 francs for 24 hours.Translating
Quiet parking area. Toilets are available, but there is no water.Translating
Good place to visit the beautiful forest and beaches. NOT an overnight spot. The police politely told us that the app information was incorrect. No staying here after 9 pm.Translating
Beware! We were just woken at 7 in the morning by the police; we were not allowed to stay here in the camper! We paid through the app, but that made no impression. Very unfortunate; it is a lovely place with forest, lake, and stream for swimming. We also saw another camper staying overnight yesterday. Unfortunately!Translating
A quiet parking area far from the center! It did not have a view of the lake, but the lake is still just a one-minute walk away! A good spot with toilets.Translating
Very nice, quiet, and pleasant place. I had nice neighbors. Very beautiful little village. A tip to visit: Hotel Paladina. With the parking receipt, you get a free dinner.Translating
Super campsite, very quiet, absolutely recommended.Translating
Large area, 7 am to 7 pm: 1 franc per hour, free otherwise. Very good adjacent restaurant. Two toilets, without flushing, but okay.Translating
Very quiet place; we spent the night alone. Good place to walk the dog. There are signs indicating a communal parking meter, but it had been removed. For safety, we paid through the app, but it would not have been necessary.Translating
Lovely place! Quiet location and one minute from the lake. Toilets directly at the parking area! The natural shoreline was wonderful and well used by other campers too—around ten during my overnight stay. I was happy to pay the daytime fee (1 CHF/hour). The small restaurant opposite was also excellent!Translating
Very quiet—directly by the lake but without a view. Costs 7 CHF for 24 hours; free from 7 pm to 7 am. Very good for sleeping and lots of space.Translating
