Good access to the springs, with many trucks around.

Beware of burglars! In broad daylight, around 10:00, three slim masked men aged approximately 20–25, with somewhat darker skin, broke in using crowbars and destroyed the door and window before fleeing in a silver limousine, probably a VW Passat, when they were disturbed. There were still two campers on the site. They parked opposite the river to get away quickly. Take care!

Nice place; you can stop right by the water. I didn't notice anything suspicious, but as everywhere, you need to be careful.

It was very nice, with the water at 39 degrees. My wife went in while I waited, then I went in; I really enjoyed it.

Wonderfully hot water, but beware!!! Keep an eye on your car because vehicles are regularly broken into, especially when it is busy. It is best to park right by the river.

I can immediately confirm the warning. We briefly went to look at the river. The parking area was quite full and lively, yet our motorhome was broken into. In addition, one or two suspicious people drive slowly around the site all day. If you can cope with that, you can bathe wonderfully in the approximately 40-degree water. Simply delightful. Towards evening, the prowlers became too annoying... time to leave.

Great place to get into the water. Don't expect a beautiful setting; it is a kind of parking area that the thermal water flows through. You can drive right up to the water. Great for changing clothes. Recommended.

Attention! At noon today, our Adria van was broken into. They opened the side-door window with a crowbar or large screwdriver without breaking anything. A red car is suspected... otherwise, the bathing was great. Three stars because of the theft.

Sulfur river with water at 38–40 degrees. We stopped 10 meters from the water and kept watch over the camper constantly because previous reviews said cars had been robbed, but we never saw anyone who could have done it.

During the day, a car was broken into and valuables were stolen. Despite many tourists. We were sitting in the motorhome and also noticed nothing. This suggests experienced thieves.

There are strange people, that's true. The accommodation is just a little uphill. Vehicles also keep coming by and looking somewhat suspicious. You can park directly in front of the springs. I would not leave the vehicle unattended. You can stand right by the pools and go swimming.

Very dirty, unfortunately nobody collects the rubbish, and everything is covered in feces. The water is very warm. There is a migrant camp next to it, so watch your valuables. There are three other baths in the area; look them up, they are much better than this one.

Ideal, wonderful. You can park two meters from the thermal springs. I don't know whether there are thieves, but we stayed here a very, very long time and nothing happened. You have to be careful about dehydration; such hot water dehydrates you without you noticing and greatly raises your heart rate. The surroundings are beautiful: a white desert dotted with vegetation, a sort of Riften.

Stay close to your car. Then it’s lovely place.

‼️Head the warnings and take precautions! There are multiple people scouting for an easy break in. Keep an eye on the van and lock up!‼️ Other than that, the water is a lovely temperature on a cold day. There is a whole river and multiple private-ish pools. Once you are in the pool the proximity to the road is barely noticeable. Not the most beautiful place, but still quite nice!

We were there in the afternoon in mid-December, and there were four other campers on site. We went straight from the camper into the water because of the bad reviews. At that time it was quiet and no loiterers were in sight. The rubbish was manageable and the pools were clean and easily accessible, even without water shoes.

We stopped here for a break but did not stay. I agree with the previous comments: there are too many prowlers and people scouting the place; they keep circling around and it feels like a break-in is about to happen.

Super beautiful spot right by the springs. The signs saying that you are not allowed to spend the night here have also been put back up.

Do not park here; break-ins happen frequently, even during the day when you use the thermal baths.

You may park here to visit the springs, the ancient site, etc., but the police check in the evening and spending the night can then be expensive.

A dip in the hot spring is highly recommended. Unfortunately, there is quite a lot of rubbish in the area, though not directly in the water. We felt safe but did not stay overnight. There were about seven other campers there.

I would avoid visiting, even just for a swim. It is nothing special and is full of rubbish. A Czech couple was just robbed of 1,800 euros and their passports in broad daylight, with their van 10 meters away. We also saw them doing it in a green Nissan Almera. I don't know whether they are from the refugee center, but we spoke with some people there and they said they knew them.

We stopped during the day to swim. The nearby refugee accommodation was known, and we were initially greeted in a friendly way. However, just as we were getting ready to take a bath, two young men approached me, asked for sex, and pointed very explicitly at their crotches. Since we were the only campers there and had our children with us, we left immediately.

Suitable for a short bath in the hot springs. We stopped for about an hour, and there were another five or six motorhomes/campers in the parking area. Overnight stays are not allowed.

Perfect for a break. Large dirt area, flat but certainly unusable in rainy weather. I did not bathe in the hot water because the river carries countless particles. It is not very encouraging. Overnight stays are prohibited.

There is a no-campers sign directly at the entrance. Except for one camper, the area was empty at noon today. We only took a break and had a quick bath in the hot springs.

Very good place. Easy to park, lots of coming and going, many motorhomes, but there is enough room. The stream is wonderful; you must not miss it if you are passing by. It is mildly sulfurous and 38–40 degrees.

We had a very good time. Regarding the previous comments, it turns out that when the police came, there were more than 200 motorhomes on the site, and the machines could not access the site for the planned work, according to locals present when we visited.

As per the new law, you are not allowed to even park motorhomes, campers, etc. in public spaces such as beaches, forests, and archaeological sites. Fines of €300 can be imposed without question. Be aware of the new law; it is a hot topic in Facebook travel groups now.

Since April 2025, there have been no-parking signs. The police sent us away.

This place is finished for the day. One week ago they put a camper-stop sign at the entrance road, and this evening the police came. They told everyone that by tomorrow morning at the latest we must leave because the entire area is an archaeological site. Well, this place will no longer be a camper spot.

Camping prohibited sign! And yet the place is full of campers?! The water also smells very strongly of sulfur, so we couldn't stand the smell and drove away.

No matter which side you stand on, it is great for self-sufficient campers. Sulfurous, 39°C warm, and instantly relaxing. One kilometer away, right by the church where you can fill up with water, there is a tavern that we can highly recommend. Just enjoy everything for free.

Between the waterfall and the second parking area, among the bushes, there is one of the quietest spots, furthest from the highway. The two pools by the waterfall are also the most pleasant for swimming, with fresh water. The nearby refugee camp is not disturbing at all; it is more than safe.

It is better to stay down below and not drive up. An old Greek man came to the spring above and masturbated next to us!!?? So girls, be safe if you are alone!

We stayed for the day and really enjoyed the thermal pools and visit the monument. There were about 20 vans there but plenty of room to be away from anyone else. We didn’t stay the night because of a few mosquitos (one of us is very allergic). Had a great vibe to the place
