Wonderful place in the garden of the former rectory. In the evening we grilled with Frank, Cora, and other guests. The care provided here for children after school is admirable. Continued success and all the best!
We enjoyed it very much again. A great project. We spent a few lovely days with other travelers, grilling and eating together. The rural peace is relaxing. It is a simple, quiet, authentic place. Frank, his daughter, and everyone else there were very kind. It was lovely to gain some insight into the project. Thank you.
Beautiful pitch in a backyard on grass among fruit trees. Very friendly hosts help with advice and assistance when needed. Very good mobile reception. We will certainly return.
A wonderful pitch—a true place of peace. The warm hospitality, green oasis, and relaxed atmosphere make the stay special. Frank knows a lot about the country and its people and is happy to share helpful tips. The pitch is also very close to Deutsch-Weißkirch. Absolutely recommended!
We are very glad that we found this nice place.
Very friendly, and wonderful to see people committed to social projects with children. Many heartfelt thanks for the lovely evening and morning at the property.
We highly recommend staying at this place. Super-friendly hosts, a beautiful garden, and a lovely view. You will find everything you need, including access to the bathroom and kitchen in the local community house. Do not consider anywhere else—just stop here and support their work with local children. There is a very good LTE signal. We recommend contacting the hosts by phone or WhatsApp.
Beautiful, recommended place. Cora gave me a warm welcome and plenty of information. I could choose a spot in the orchard. I was passing through and would gladly return immediately.
We received a very warm welcome. We liked the garden very much and had a lovely time. The highlight was watching the cows and horses return home in the evening—a wonderful experience. We recommend this place 100%.
We were able to spend several very beautiful and relaxing days here. After Cora's wonderfully warm welcome, we spent much time in the idyllic, green rectory garden. The educational and meeting project for disadvantaged children is run with great dedication and love. We will certainly return!
As a camper, I received a very friendly welcome here. I was allowed to use the kitchen, bathroom, and large garden. Many sights can be reached quickly from here, but the surrounding landscape is also a dream. The kind young woman from Germany doing voluntary service was always friendly and helpful. I sincerely thank you for the pleasant stay.
The rectory is in the center of Romania, its heart. All the sights can be reached from here: the Turda salt mine, Dracula's castle, many old German towns, nature reserves, and endless forests. King Charles's estate too. But the greatest attraction is the curly-haired blonde angel who opens the gate. Apparently there is also a two-headed water buffalo.
It is a beautiful pitch in the garden of the old rectory. When we arrived, we could not find a number on the gate, but with the neighbor's help we reached Frank, who explained how to enter the property. We stayed two nights and were even allowed to join an information tour about the project for other guests one day. It is a truly wonderful project!
We were warmly welcomed both by phone from Germany and by the intern, and spent an interesting evening with Cora in the kitchen. Cora advised us not to drink the tap water. Thank you, and we hope many campers come to support your peace-building work. Angela and Hansjörg
A small, cozy pitch by the fortified church in Dacia, well located for visiting Viscri. There is a Park4Night sign with a telephone number on the gate. A bathroom with toilet and cold-water shower is available.
Very pleasant place in the courtyard of a former rectory. Warm welcome, peace, and a good view of the stars. In the evening, a show takes place in front of the house: the cows come back from the pasture and go home.
We always enjoy visiting this wonderful place and stayed five days this time. The former rectory offers room for surprising, warm, and interesting encounters, as well as peace for relaxation. All the best and God's continued blessing for this place!
Very warm hosts; I had a lovely time. See you soon.
A magical place where simplicity and authenticity blend. We spent two unforgettable days there, lulled by the serenity of a former rectory transformed into a haven of peace. Every donation directly helps the village children; it is difficult to remain unmoved by such a project. We left lighthearted, with our heads full of memories and hearts full of gratitude. One thing is certain: we will return.
A very beautiful place and a wonderful project. Highly recommended. We can only agree with the positive reviews.
Very beautiful place with wonderful energy, which is only natural for a place filled with so much selflessness. We spent a peaceful night and received a very warm welcome. Do not hesitate to make a donation! The reviews speak for themselves.
Quiet courtyard with a garden, fire pit, and beautiful nature around the old village. Frank also likes to take time for visitors when he is there. The money is used for lunches in the inclusive school project, which is financed entirely by donations, so I was happy to contribute. Please call beforehand; someone is always nearby. Peaceful enough for fox and hare to play cards.
Beautifully situated. A former rectory with an old orchard. It is not a campsite. For nearly 15 years, the operator has run an inclusive school here with great dedication. The income goes into this valuable project. Frank is a warm host. We felt at home. Frank's work here impressed us greatly. We would be happy to return.
Beautiful, peaceful place in a rural setting. Motorhomes and vans can stay in the orchard of the educational center. Frank and the others made us feel very comfortable and welcome. Their project and commitment to the region are admirable. When our car broke down, Frank gave us great support. Many thanks again, and we absolutely recommend staying here!
This is not just a very nice site to stay overnight with welcoming hosts. The integrative work that Frank and his daughter Cora are performing is impressive and they a very kind. So I stayed a little longer and supported Frank by fixing a few things. Your payment directly supports the project - so, if you are as impressed as I am you might be tempted to upgrade your donation - well spent here!
We were lucky that Frank had just arrived back in Romania and explained his project to us. We have great respect for him and are pleased to see such commitment. We parked directly in the courtyard and were allowed to use the kitchen and bathroom in the rectory. The evening on the terrace with new acquaintances will remain unforgettable. Annette and Stephan
Exceptional is exactly the right word. We arrived without registering. In the middle of the village we were warmly greeted and accompanied to the rectory. The welcome was heartfelt and we immediately felt comfortable. Driving through the gate with our truck was easy. We are now parked beneath the old red beech, enjoying the peace. We recommend this place to anyone nearby. There is also Wi-Fi, of course.
Very friendly welcome. We spent one night there in a roof tent and felt more than comfortable. After a brief registration with Frank, everything was very easy. We had a lovely evening on the rectory terrace with our fellow campers.
A pitch with added value. After registering in advance by phone with Frank, you can park in the courtyard of the former rectory. The pitch fee (50 RON for a car with a roof tent) and voluntary donations benefit the social project also based in the rectory. Cora and Ana gave us a warm welcome. The bathroom and kitchen are simple but entirely adequate.
Very warm welcome in a former rectory next to a fortified church, and only 7 km from the magnificent one in Viscri! Space for only two large motorhomes. Book in advance! Very hot shower heated by a wood fire! Kitchen available, washing machine, covered terrace and pleasant garden, electricity…
We met the committed Frank through Facebook and think his project is fantastic. Everything you need is available. It is not first class, but campers do not need that. For us, the friendly contact with Frank and the warmth shown by Ono and her family were much more important. The pitch fee goes 100% toward the children's project! We say thank you!
When we arrived in Dacia, we were welcomed by many cows and horses. Contact with Frank by phone or WhatsApp in German, and with Elvira on site, was very friendly. We really enjoyed using the covered terrace overlooking the orchard. A peaceful, sheltered place. Respect for the idealism with which this inclusive school project is being carried out here.
