Fährstraße 9, 17449, Peenemünde
Been here?
This spacious, informal motorhome area is directly beside the harbour, with freely chosen pitches among boats, old vehicles and other curiosities. Sanitary facilities are clean but can be a long walk away, while electricity points are spread around the site. Water and waste services cost 1€ extra, and nearby museums, harbour walks, sailing, fishing and other activities provide plenty to do. Registration is from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the harbor gallery or from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the harbor bar. Nights can be quiet, although occasional loud conversations, television or music disturb some stays.

Beautiful motorhome site for anyone who is not looking for anything fancy, but simply wants to be themselves on holiday.
The site is really something special—but tonight some men with very powerful voices have had an immense need to talk until now (1 a.m.). Now the television next door is clattering. Earlier, some rattling vehicle drove away. There are only a few of them, but I will be gone tomorrow. Such a shame for this beautiful, special place!
From Austria. On the return journey after eight weeks in Scandinavia, we absolutely had to come here. This place does not need reviews from anyone. It is simply good—better Gösser (that's a beer).
Eccentric but pleasing site with boats scattered around. Good stroll to loos/showers, which are fine. Request made for E1 for loos. Rocket Museum excellent, lots in English, and very relevant to us. Nice stroll round harbour, also other museums, bars, food etc. Not what I expected, (interesting location, as well as the museum we came for), would happily stay again
We thought it was fun. A bit chaotic, but well and relaxedly organized. Spacious field with free choice of pitch. Fine sanitary facilities (though they took some finding). Several restaurants and cafés, which closed a little early at the beginning of June. Plenty of interesting places to visit within walking or cycling distance.
Quaint, beautiful site right by the harbor. Late arrivals can simply report the next morning. Fresh rolls and breakfast every morning. Toilets within walking distance on the site. There are also sanitary facilities. If that is too far, use the toilet on board. An extra €1 for servicing is not too much to ask. Best fish sandwiches. Sunset drinks at the Walfisch Bar from 5 p.m. Great people, a real insider tip. I will come back.
Nice stay. A little alternative, but no less enjoyable for that. The toilet block is quite a walk away, but clean. Friendly, no-nonsense atmosphere. You can cycle in the area. A visit to the nearby museum is also recommended. It is a shame that the restaurants close so early. We did have a delicious meal at Zum Himmel. Friendly service.
We are repeat visitors ;-). We like the simple layout of the site. The sanitary facilities are impeccably maintained. All the staff we have dealt with so far are absolutely friendly. Enjoying coffee in a beach chair at the harbor gallery in the morning, with music like Max Raabe, is simply wonderful. Until next time.
Large meadow without marked pitches. Electricity posts distributed throughout the grounds. Of the two nights, one was very quiet and one had loud music from the neighboring property. We did not use the showers because they were much too far away. Waste and water services are fine, but we do not think it is right for guests to pay extra for them. It is acceptable for travelers passing through. Otherwise, there is plenty to explore from here. The museums are worth visiting.
A site of a different kind, among old ships, vehicles and all kinds of odds and ends. More could be made of the whole area. It is quiet, but the value for money is not really right here.
The site was simple and somewhat chaotic. Checking in was a little difficult because the harbor bar and surf bar were closed. We could only register a day later at the harbor gallery. We deducted points because gray-water and cassette disposal, as well as the shower and even the toilet, all cost extra. Otherwise, the location is perfect for activities in Peemünde.
When we called to ask about booking, we were told: Come by, there is always room. And that was how it was. We could choose the motorhome pitch ourselves. Everything is available: electricity, fresh water, gray- and black-water disposal, showers, toilets and a friendly team. A quiet site with many ways to spend your free time. Thanks to the entire team.
We were here from December 30, 2025 to January 1, 2026. Very friendly people, clean sanitary facilities; my wife thought they were too far away (150 m), but I did not find it serious. Electricity can also be used for heating for an additional charge. Top location for anyone who likes water. The Walfisch restaurant on the grounds is highly recommended. Getting electricity was no problem despite New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
The shower and toilet were far away, so you think twice about whether to use the toilet on board instead. The location is fantastic. Arrival was somewhat chaotic because it was not entirely clear where everything was or where to register. The campers are scattered randomly across the meadow.
Great site! Quaint, authentic and completely relaxed. Ideal for visiting the museums. Recommended: the harbor and Walfisch Bar with its great team!
One of the best camper spots on Usedom Island. A harbor stop close to the museum. No reservation needed. €24.50 with electricity and toilet. Recommended.
Nice people and centrally located. However, the site is not particularly well maintained and you pay extra for everything. The waste and water service area was very dirty. The Walfisch Bar is a positive, though. Perfect for a sunset. The continuously bellowing bull in the neighboring pasture was somewhat annoying. The site could be made into so much more. It has potential.
Beautiful motorhome site. Free choice of pitch and the harbor bar is great. The shower and toilet are poor because they are quite far away, especially at night, and everything costs extra. Deducted one point. Poor lighting.
Wonderful site. Authentic and charming! After all the overcrowded tourist campsites here on Usedom, this is a dream for nature and peace seekers. Relaxed for people and dogs! Just a few meters away are a well-known technology museum and a submarine museum. Fishing trips are also possible here. Simply a special place!
uncomplicated and chilled. it's quiet but still so much to see and do within 5 minutes. there are no fixed parking spots or reservations. just rock up during opening hours, pay, and choose your place. but if you drive away for the day, your place may be taken when you get back. the nearest big town is about a 7km bike ride away, as shopping is limited here. but several bars and cafes close by.
Clean, friendly staff
Very nice and really quiet despite the location. The bathrooms were excellent. Price for one night including showers and disposal for a motorhome and two people: €26.
Interesting history in the area.
Really beautiful motorhome site right at the harbor in Peenemünde. Everything is extremely straightforward. Plenty of space. Sanitary facilities are very clean and well maintained. There are restaurants and bars, which are highly recommended. There is also a bread-roll service. Everything you need all around.
Motorhome site at campsite level, but also priced in the campsite range. Clean sanitary facilities about 150 m away. Ideal starting point for the historic Peenemünde Museum. In the morning, fresh rolls are available directly at the friendly harbor bar—top service.
Peenemünde every year—every year a dream!! Everything is super uncomplicated, there is always something new to discover and the team is very nice! Until next time <3
Awesome!!! Not a stuffy site. You can park however you want. We did not need electricity, showers or toilets. Everything else was very pleasant. Lots to see—museums, etc. Great landscape. Great team.
We liked it here very much! Free choice of pitch on a large meadow directly by the water. Everything is relaxed and lovingly arranged, with great attention to detail. Breakfast in the gallery is highly recommended. The shower and toilet require a bit of walking and have no anteroom, but are clean. There is plenty to do and discover all around. We will definitely come back!
Hi, okay for one night. It has been mentioned several times that the toilets and showers are a 3–4 minute walk away, depending on where you park. €16 for the pitch sounds good, BUT I consider €2.50 per person per day for waste outrageous. Electricity €3.50 per day and fresh water €1.00. For two days and two people, €50 for a pitch.
We spontaneously stayed here for one night. The sanitary facilities are somewhat farther away, but clean. The location of the site overlooking the harbor is simply excellent. Everyone was friendly. We would be very happy to come back!
We loved being able to choose our own pitch on a large meadow overlooking the water. Friendly team; there is always work going on and the owner never runs out of ideas. New wooden wash hut with sand under your feet and gravel in the shower. Rustic, clean and well ventilated. Anyone who needs asphalted white lines will not be happy here. The only little complaint: waste disposal costs extra for guests, which is unusual.
Okay. Very few electricity sockets, despite electricity costing €3.50 per day. Reception was very nice and accommodating. The site is not divided into pitches. There are outdoor baths on gravel and a washhouse with tiled showers, but they are very far from the site. Hot-water showers also cost extra. There is basically no dishwashing facility. It is possible at the fish-washing area, but there is only one basin with warm water.
I spent my first night on Usedom here. I liked it! Lots of opportunities to walk the dogs. Breakfast is available in the harbor gallery, where registration also takes place. Cost for one person, two dogs and electricity: €21.50.
A wonderful spot near Usedom, and it is easy to chat with other people. The showers and toilets are rather far away, so you need to think carefully about taking everything with you or when you need to use the toilet. A few more electricity sockets at the outer pitches would be great. The first time, we were glad to have 50 m of cable; otherwise, we would not have had electricity.
Top motorhome site in an amazingly unusual location directly at the museum harbor of Peenemünde. It has a very special charm. We definitely liked it.
The site is great for its location, and if you are interested in history, there is plenty to see! The layout is my biggest criticism: why put the toilets and showers at the completely opposite end of the area? It does not make sense to me; it is a simple five-minute walk. A lot has already been written about the prices; unfortunately, staying here is not cheap either!
Arrive, choose a pitch, register and feel at home. A harbor pub with lots of atmosphere and delicious food is right next to the site. Unfortunately, it closes at 6 p.m.; I think opening hours are longer in high season. Without electricity, €21 for two people. Fine! Breakfast at the harbor pub: €24 for two people, very, very delicious! Everything is very relaxed. We will come back!
Nice quirky campsite very good area to stay for the old power station visit, nice food on boat wife enjoyed food while I tasted the local beer that you help your self to then go pay at the counter. Possible issues with pay by card for us but could have been our cards so have cash just in case, showers and toilets are in the new building before the hotel.
