Very kind owner, excellent stopover with everything necessary, fresh water, chemical toilet cleaning and grey-water disposal. No electricity.Translating
A super find for those with vans and full facilities. The owner was great, only 4 places , fresh water available and black and grey waste disposal. No ehu, but we rarely use it anyway, no toilets or showers. £15 p.n. cash. Just under a mile to walk to the old Blacksmiths and 5 minutes walk to the outlet centre. Highly recommend.
Good pitch in the garden of a property. Includes a coffee voucher for the outlet. Great value for money.Translating
Great little aire for visiting Gretna or stopping on the north/south route. Thoroughly recommended.Translating
Super 5 van Aire well located for Gretna and Gretna Green have to offer. Black and grey waste drops, and fresh water fill point. Lovely welcome from the owner and tips provided on where to go. Excellent bakery within a 10 min walk. Outlet shopping with lots of stores about 15 min walk away. Some road noise at night from the M6/A74M depending on the wind direction. Full when we arrived & left.
Great location with warm welcoming owners. A few takeaways within a short walk and a CO-OP store with plenty of stock. All for £15. What’s not to like.
Just turned up without prior booking for our first night ( Sun 28/12/2025 ) as we ventured into Scotland for a few days. The owner was very kind, offerered a choice of plots. All services available. An ideal stop off for services or a night to break up a long journey.
It was easy to find and we just used the facilities only. The man was very friendly and helpful, worth £10. Would recommend.
This is a back and front garden set up. Minimal space. There were already 2 vans in the back garden, we were given a grass area, very hard to manoeuvre our motorhome on the space. We felt very hemmed in, and when I saw the sign for no dogs on the grass, I knew it wasn’t how we’d pictured our first night in Scotland. It was hard again to move off the space - relieved to move on when we managed it.
Stopover for services only; perfect facilities and a friendly welcome. £10. Better equipped than some campsites. I recommend it.Translating
Excellent stopover, with very accommodating hosts. We called late in the day and they booked us into the last 8-metre slot. Grey-water disposal, toilet emptying and fresh water available. The Solway Lodge Hotel next to the stop serves superb food, but booking is advisable. Gretna retail park is at the end of the road. We would use it again. Thank you.Translating
Practical stop for filling and emptying tanks (£10), as this is also possible without an overnight stay. Google Maps initially took us to the wrong place. People and dogs are not allowed on the grass. Dogs must use a dog toilet, a fenced gravel area. Payment possible in cash or by card.Translating
Very nice, peaceful place. Colin gave us a very warm welcome. I highly recommend this stopover on the way to the Highlands!Translating
