Parkside parking, aircraft and train noise

We stayed one night here, originally just passing through. But because of its proximity to Milan, it is also attractive for visiting the city. A large, beautiful park is right in front of you, with friendly dog owners, a few teenagers and even a drinking-water fountain! You can hear car traffic, trains and planes, but it did not bother us. Much better to spend the night in the middle of a meadow than at a motorway service area.

Quiet night; we hardly noticed the air traffic. A few cars were still parked there, but that did not bother us. The park is busy on Sundays, but still quiet. Perfect for a safe night's sleep.

Instead of one night, we stayed for two and cycled from here to Milan Cathedral, 12 km away. Beautifully located on the edge of town with lots of greenery. A fitness trail passes by. Scooters, cyclists and dog walkers are also around; we felt safe and welcome here. With earplugs, the landing planes did not disturb us at night. We would come back anytime.

A quiet place, with only discreet dog walkers around. The parking area is very flat. We moved the van to San Donato (7–8 minutes by car) to take the metro and visit Milan (12 minutes to the Duomo).

We spent a quiet night here, although beware of mosquitoes. You can hear the planes, but they did not disturb our sleep.

Little traffic, water, view of a park with picnic tables and an exercise area. Pleasant for relaxing and spending a quiet night. P.S. Don't forget your mosquito repellent.

Quite spacious, flat on asphalt in a peaceful setting between a residential area and the very pleasant Vettabbia Park. Also ideal for motorhomes and camper vans up to 6 metres; a few metres away there is a water fountain, bins and shaded picnic tables. In the nearby town you will find a supermarket, pharmacy and a charming church.

We spent a very quiet night at the beginning of February. Clean and lit at night. We did not notice the planes. In the morning we moved to the paid metro parking area to visit Milan.
