Been here?
This seaside campsite lies between several bays, with access to five beaches and pitches with or without electricity. There is no shade, while some waterfront spaces have sea views and cheaper pitches are grouped closely under a large shelter. The sanitary facilities are old, and recent reports describe them as poor; a restaurant and morning bread service are available. Access is easy for vehicles over 7 metres, and shuttles to La Maddalena run 3 times per day in August.

No shade. Few spots by the water, but pleasant. Others are available with a partial view. The cheaper ones are under a huge shelter, lined up next to each other, where it still gets very hot without the benefit of the breeze. A little unsettling. Friendly welcome.
Unfortunately not recommended. Miserable sanitary facilities (sinks ripped out, cables above the showers), unfriendly staff, and contradictory statements. An agreed pitch arrangement was later withdrawn. When we wanted to leave because of this, we were still expected to pay the full price—an absolute disgrace. Many pitches are also in full sun.
Oasis of peace and tranquility. Very friendly reception. Immaculate facilities and fabulous restaurant. Comfortable, large pitches with or without electricity. Very long cables are better. Access to five beaches and coves with impressive west- or east-facing views. Easy access, no difficulty for vehicles over 7 meters. I recommend it as the best place to stay when visiting La Maddalena.
A great place for peace and relaxation. Amazing beaches nearby. BUT unfortunately designed with little care. Lots of mobile homes have been built, ruining the character of the site. If they are all full, I think you have to flee. Too bad when commerce once again takes priority over quality. The showers and toilets are okay and clean. The ladies at reception could be a little friendlier.
Wonderful, rugged nature. Beaches both to the west, with lots of wind, and to the east, much calmer. Sanitary facilities very clean, hot showers (only from above). Unfortunately, the staff is not friendly. Every newly arriving party is told that everything is reserved, which simply is not true. We stayed four nights at the end of May. Only people with reservations were allowed into the upper right area.
Dream location for this campsite surrounded by superb beaches. Sanitary facilities a little old-fashioned but clean and somewhat far from the pitches.
We stayed here for three nights and, with our dog, did not like it at all. Restaurant price/performance overpriced—the site dusty and bleak—the sanitary facilities were okay. The sea view is relative; it feels more like camper cuddling and a parking lot. The main beach is small, the neighboring beach rather dirty. Walking with a dog is impossible except along the road. The photos show only half the truth.
We stayed two nights at this wonderful place and enjoyed the peace and location. Sanitary facilities were clean, friendly welcome, and great value for money. We explored the island by bicycle and visited La Maddalena.
Wonderful view Unclear explanation of where one may park Bathrooms FATAL, dirt and dust everywhere Price: one night for 2 adults, a dog, camper, and electricity = €33
A beautiful place to let your soul unwind! The surrounding coves are very beautiful. Sanitary facilities are simple but clean. It is 5 km by bicycle to La Maddalena—a great tour across the island.
We used the site for one overnight stay and immediately found the sandy-track entrance; the welcome was friendly. We could look at the pitches and then decide. The basic price is €24 plus €2.50 tax per person. That is how the €29 total is calculated. Electricity €6. Sanitary facilities were clean and okay. Beautiful beaches are within walking distance. Location 5 stars, site 4.
We spent one night here in a car without electricity. The welcome was friendly; we paid €29 for two people. There is a lovely section of beach for guests. The sanitary facilities are somewhat dated but were clean. Laundry is possible. The restaurant was open, but we did not visit it.
Wonderful spot, excellent campsite, €35 all-inclusive: taxes, electricity, and all amenities for a motorhome. Perfect for us.
I was there yesterday. The road (sandy track) is difficult to find because there is no sign for the campsite on the road and it is marked as a private road. It looks as though the road leads to the houses higher up. The turnoff is at the same junction as Baia Trinita. I only briefly saw the site because they wanted to charge me €29 per night for one person, which I politely declined. Location by the water.
Unfortunately, it appears to be closed as of 30 April 2026.
We have been here twice. The pitches for campers are rather wild; there are no proper plots, which we like. The island itself and the view are enchanting. There is a plateau accessible only to 4x4 vehicles. It is often windy here. One star deducted because Italian engineering once again seems to enjoy placing wastewater and power cables together. The site is for people who like nature.
The site is perfectly fine and very spacious; the paths to the sanitary building are sometimes very long. Reception was not very friendly in mid-October. The lady quoted a different price by phone than on site (first €24, then €29), but eventually, somewhat annoyed, agreed to give us the cheaper price previously quoted. Sanitary facilities perfectly okay. Little privacy on the pitches, some tightly packed.
It was our first time here. The explanation from a very nice lady who spoke perfect German could not have been warmer. Although the site was full, with many reservations, we still got a good pitch. The sanitary facilities are clean, well maintained, and plentiful. We cannot understand where the bad reviews come from. We would gladly return.
One star—but unfortunately only because fewer is not possible. The sanitary facilities are absolutely borderline, merely sprayed with water instead of being cleaned. New mobile homes have been built, but there is no money for investment in the sanitary facilities. Tent trailers are not allowed a sea view, allegedly because of obstructing others’ views—even though motorhomes are taller than us. Super-unfriendly staff, what a shame!
We saw no sign of biting dogs. The staff was also friendly to us. The pitches on the hill for 4x4 vehicles are fantastic! We managed it without any problems with a T6 4Motion.
Actually a beautiful site, but you feel a little deceived. Apparently there are no more pitches with a sea view, yet there is plenty of space and no one else arrived in the evening or at night. On the standard pitch you feel imprisoned because it is completely enclosed by a 2.5-meter-high fence. Too bad, but the sunset made it a little better :).
It’s nothing else but a junkyard. There are a few spots right at the sea that are free but you can not get them because they are all „reserved“. The lady at the reception is in my camping career by far the worst and most grumpy + unfriendly person in such a position. I would not recommend this place at all.
We did not notice any biting dogs on the access road. Great location, but there are various pitches with and without sea views, and the allocation criteria were not understandable. Unfortunately, we were directed to the standard pitch under awnings. We paid €24.00 without electricity.
Access via a private road with a pack of biting dogs! Do not get out of the car and do not walk! I saw a man with several deep bite wounds on his arms and legs at reception. Although this had already happened several times, we were not warned. The site is well maintained and surrounded by pleasant little beaches. However, the really great beaches are elsewhere.
The price-to-service ratio is reasonable, so we were satisfied. We enjoyed the food at the restaurant, with very nice views of the surrounding beaches and nature.

Magnificent views and pitches, unless you get a standard pitch under the sun sails. The “wilder” pitches are also easily accessible with a 4x4, though somewhat more expensive than the standard ones. The restaurant on site is excellent. Do not forget a long cable reel; it is required on the sea-view pitches.
Awful welcome from start to finish; this is the first time in three years this has happened to us. Phew. Avoid it; one night is enough. The place is wonderful, what a shame. It is better to sleep at Camping La Maddalena in the south, not very far away.
Beautiful place, everything you need for a successful holiday. An intimate beach with crystal-clear water, 5 minutes away. The campsite offers shaded pitches. Price for 2 adults, one child, and a VW California: €44.
A very good campsite if you have a 4x4 to enjoy the view. There is a climb, and it is great. Otherwise, the pitches are not fantastic—places under shade nets. There are also sunny pitches with a fairly beautiful view. The beach is okay and quiet; snorkeling is great, with lots of fish to see. Very clean toilets! Well done, Mrs. Toilet Cleaner.
Two stars only for the privileged location. On the other hand, there are few attractive pitches with a sea view. For the others, it feels like being in a parking lot, and there is no electricity everywhere. The showers are small, with lukewarm water. Many toilets have no light. Price excessive (€44 for a car with a roof tent, two adults, and one four-year-old child, without electricity).
Fantastic place Small but unique beaches I recommend it for a maximum of three nights Excellent value for money It feels more like a camp than a campsite Electricity is not available at the pitch; bring a cable at least 30 meters long.
Beautiful campsite, great beaches all around. We stayed on the “wild” pitch, with a dream view. Sanitary facilities above Italian standards. Unfortunately, I found the staff unfriendly, unhelpful, and very annoyed—not welcoming. But otherwise, a great campsite.
Well-located campsite with an abundance of beaches to choose from. Two areas for motorhomes: under tarps, without a sea view but sheltered from the wind, or by the sea, which costs €5 more. Clean sanitary facilities. No drinking water. Magnificent sunset. Shuttle one kilometer away to take you around the entire islands of Maddalena or Caprera. I give only four stars because the price is high!
What is really worth to mention is the campsite restaurant - outside looks a little miserable, but give it a chance and enter - the garden is cosy and the food! Outstanding!!! Don’t go to the nearby restaurant by Spiaggia Strangolato - extremely expensive and definitely not worth the money! But here, at the campsite- once again - the food is “mamma mia fantastico!”
We had an off-road pitch on the hill with a fantastic sea view and absolute solitude. €39 for two people and a motorhome. Going uphill was no problem; downhill, the step suffered damage, so be careful! Still worthwhile for 4x4s. Friendly staff, clean, functioning facilities, dream location.
