Pier-side parking, early fishing activity

Thank you to the town hall for this lovely, very quiet spot with public toilets available.

Peaceful night. The lights go out around 11 p.m. Thank you to the municipality for not banning overnight parking. We will visit the local shops.

By the Orne River. Very quiet place. Yes, fishermen arrive early in the morning, but they are very discreet and it is not a problem. Toilets and recycling facilities on site.

Tried on May 2. Beautiful setting by the Orne. Very quiet and pleasant, apart from the fishermen who arrive at sunrise! Tables, toilets…

Very quiet parking area by the river with a free, clean toilet. No water point. Picnic tables and green spaces surround the parking area. Shops are easily accessible on foot (bakery, bar, mini-market…). The only downside is that the sewage treatment plant is right next door and may be responsible for unpleasant smells.

We spent a quiet afternoon and a very peaceful night here, in the front section. Wonderfully situated on the Orne. I would not park directly in front of the restaurant boat. There is a toilet, a playground for small children, picnic tables and rubbish bins. Nice place.

It is indeed a parking area, but if you park at the back by the water, you forget that you are in a parking lot. Overnight stays are tolerated here.

No prohibition sign. We spent the night here with two other motorhomes. No problem… not a sound.

This morning, the harbourmaster visited us and told us that this parking area is forbidden for motorhomes. We went to ask at the tourist office; indeed, only the free parking area near the campsite and service point is authorised.

Lovely spot by the river, quiet, with toilets and children’s play equipment. A beautiful night before discovering Swiss Normandy.
