Excellent picnic area: no mosquitoes, flat spaces and tables, shade near the tables at the end of the day, and the possibility of walking to the Allier bridge just below and to beautiful castle ruins. Very quiet despite being close to the road; we saw no cars from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. Dog-friendly and clean.
Beautiful surroundings. The grass had just been freshly mowed. We were there for a picnic. No bin or other facilities, but there is a ruin.
