2 Calle Balneario, 22650, Baños de Panticosa
Been here?
An idyllic mountain parking place for daytime visits, hiking and access to the spa. It is usually very crowded, with many routes starting directly from the parking area. There are no services. Overnight stays are reported as allowed in the parking beside the stone refuge, although the original information says they are prohibited.

Yes, overnight stays are allowed in the parking area next to the stone shelter. The bad thing is that it is always very full and there are no services, but given the location, you can't ask for more. A thousand routes start from the same parking area.
Good, but it is a shame that people without toilets relieve themselves everywhere. The access to the river stinks. Please take your toilet paper with you when you leave.
As always, packed to the brim. If you get up very early, you may find a parking space. Most people probably spend the night here, although it is not permitted.
Beautiful place to spend the day; overnight stays prohibited.
Parking fenced off with concrete blocks and a chain. You cannot sleep in the other parking area next to it. Many vans and small cars take all their equipment outside. It is a shame they banned it when large vans and motorhomes are the ones that respect the area most without littering. WE WILL NOT RETURN!
They are closing off the central parking area with blocks… it's over. They want to drive away the mountaineers and leave only spa and nightclub tourism, with noise pollution like on Wednesday, when there were outdoor DJ parties.
It is no wonder they prohibit overnight stays here. The behavior of people bringing out all kinds of stalls, chairs, tables and other things is shameful. This is not a campsite. And it is not only people with vans, motorhomes and campers; people with normal cars also do it.
free carpark, can't knock it. There's no reason why they shouldn't let us stay though. There's a really good spot in Panticosa though. Just have to keep driving up and down the road.
I give it one star because they are issuing fines. They make rounds at dinner time or in the morning and fine you if you take out tables, chairs, etc. The same is happening in the Sallent and Lanuza areas.
Overnight stays prohibited; they are issuing fines, although many people are still sleeping here. I’m giving one star for the warning.
As of May 13, 2023, we found a no-overnight-stays sign. There was a Civil Guard patrol; we asked them and they confirmed that overnight stays are now prohibited throughout the entire area. They said parking is allowed, but sleeping overnight is not. What a shame.
Beautiful place. In principle, overnight stays are prohibited.
Huge parking area. When I went, it was frozen and covered in snow, so be careful. I stayed during the day, and it is an idyllic place.
We spent the night here. Excellent.
