Been here?
This is a large, flat parking area beside Červený kameň castle, with sunny and shady spaces near the forest. It is usually busy during visiting hours but quiet at night, and overnight parking is generally free. A barrier closes in the evening and reopens at 7h, with closing times varying by season. There are no services, though toilets may be available in the castle grounds.

Very quiet parking areaTranslating
It's a great place, next to the castle and a bit of forest. The parking is big, flat and provides sunny and shady places, whatever you or your energy-management prefers. I can confirm about the guard closing the barriers - he whistles shortly, checks if someone still wants to drive out, then closes. No questions, no discussions, he just accepts campers still standing there. 8:30pm in summer.
As in the previous comments. The guard arrives by car when he has time. Last night it was around 9 p.m. He honks briefly and then closes the barrier until 7 a.m. the next morning. He only speaks Slovak and understands without being told that you want to stay. Then you have complete peace for the night.Translating
Huge parking area in a beautiful place, a garden immersed in the woods. There are no lights and no noise. At 8:00 p.m. they close the barrier, but the guard does not make us leave. No services, but I recommend it—it is beautiful.Translating
Nice place but it has to be marked that the gates close at 19:00 (as found in November 2025), so no overnight stay is possible. Trash containers closed with metal locks, no trash can be disposed.
We arrived in the late afternoon and spent the night in this parking area without any problems. We do not know whether the guard actually closed the barrier because it was too dark to see. Very quiet and excellent for visiting the beautiful castle.Translating
A large parking area in a very quiet location. I spent the night with two other vans. I recommend visiting the castle and walking through the woods.Translating
We spent 2 nights here with a caravan in tow; the gatekeeper came to tell us that he was closing the entrance around 9:00 p.m. No services, but access to a toilet on the premises.Translating
Very good spot for spending a quiet night near the castle. A kind gentleman came by to tell us he was closing the barrier. We told him we were sleeping there before visiting the next day, and he wished us good night.Translating
Very quiet night, with truly wonderful surroundings for walking or mountain biking. The castle is also absolutely worth seeing.Translating
This is one of the most beautiful spots in the Little Carpathians. There’s a large parking lot next to a beautiful castle surrounded by stunning nature. The parking lot is closed for the night with a barrier, so you need to arrive by 8 PM. On summer weekends, the lot can be full. A tour of the castle is definitely worth it—it’s one of the most beautiful castles in Slovakia. Nights here are completely peaceful, with only the sound of birds singing.
Very large free parking area near the castle, with several parking zones accessible to vehicles of all sizes. Paved and relatively level, with some shaded areas. No services, but excellent satellite reception and 4G. Slightly secured by a barrier, simply pushed closed by the guard from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m.Translating
Very large parking area where you can also stay overnight free of charge. In the off-season, the lot is lightly used on weekdays. Water and a toilet are in the sanitary building at the entrance. However, water can only be collected with a small container at the hand-washing basin.Translating
Large, clean, open, and quiet parking area. Ideal for one night, but be careful not to park in the middle of the lot reserved for buses, as we were surrounded by coaches in the morning. At the castle entrance there are spotless toilets that you can use free of charge.Translating
