Riverside site, event noise

We have never experienced such a completely overcrowded site. Emergency access routes are partly blocked by motorhomes. The municipality collects the pitch fees and does not care about anything else. Fire safety is no longer ensured.

Everything is beautiful here again. The municipality had the caravan removed today.

Basically a great place, but... a caravan without license plates has been standing on the site for a week. The occupants use the surroundings as a toilet, and dishwater and similar waste are dumped into the landscape. The site operator should intervene here.

We had two very pleasant, quiet overnight stays. It was not overcrowded at all. The price of €12 for 24 hours of parking is entirely reasonable. We had to look for the service facilities, but that was fine and they were free.

It would be too crowded, too tight, and too expensive for me. We were only here during the day at the playground and the beach chairs. New, clean, free toilets are south of the site at Mainstrasse 22.

Nice site and very beautiful surroundings. However, disposal is no longer possible on site. At a pitch fee of €12, I expect that and do not want to walk to the sewage treatment plant first. A shame; we used to come here often, but this is no good.

Actually quite a nice place. BUT there are constantly various events, which is nice at first, but the loud music always continues until 4 or 5 in the morning. Isn't midnight enough? Sleeping and relaxing are impossible. The municipality should seriously think about this.

Quite nice if you like it cozy and cramped. I drove on immediately.

We have known the site for a long time. The price is €12. The toilet and disposal facilities have now been moved. Disposal is behind the skate area. You now have to walk about 100 metres to the toilet. It is located in a building. Everything is new and clean.

No toilet disposal is possible on site anymore, and the toilet building is also gone. According to a notice, a permanent toilet facility was built nearby, but unfortunately it is not yet finished or open. Disposal is only possible at the sewage treatment plant! For self-sufficient vehicles, it is still a beautiful site. Update: Toilet disposal is possible at the volleyball court behind the skate park!

Great location directly on the Main, although only a few pitches have a view of the river. Very quiet despite good occupancy. Waste disposal and water supply are somewhat distant but free. The fee is reasonable. We will come again.

We stayed here for two nights (October 2–4). Beautifully located and quiet. There are too few electrical connections for the size of the site, but we made arrangements with our neighbour. We will return here. The area is ideal for hiking and cycling.

Very beautifully located site, correspondingly popular (October 3). Overall, it is relaxed. Only a few people get electricity. Otherwise, apart from rubbish bins, we found nothing else. You should be able to stay self-sufficient. Payment is €12 with coins, notes, or via app. We would come again.

Beautiful site at the Main ferry with electricity, water supply, and chemical-toilet disposal. Grey-water disposal must be done with a bucket or by driving to the sewage treatment plant a few hundred metres away. A toilet container is also available. The €12 pitch fee can be paid via app or at the machine. The town has many wineries, restaurants, and a bakery. The beer and wine garden at the ferry, with its wonderful view of the vineyards and the Main, is also recommended!

Beautiful site, we liked it. We stayed during the week. It is surely busy on weekends.

Beautiful, natural, spacious site. Usually well visited. Being self-sufficient creates privacy.

We spent a quiet and relaxing night after tasting one or two wines in the town and directly next to the pitch. The location by the small ferry is great, and a small bakery is within walking distance. The pitch was reasonably level, clean, and equipped with several electrical posts. We did not use the toilet, but I was able to dispose of my chemical toilet. Thank you!

A beautiful, quiet pitch on a meadow near the Main ferry. It is also busy on weekends in October, but still quiet. The toilet container has four women's toilets and two toilets and urinals for men. They are used by campers and skate-park visitors, so they are busy, but nevertheless clean. Next to the container are toilet-disposal and grey-water drainage facilities. Pitch price: €12 per day; electricity €0.50/kWh; rubbish bins next to the entrance.

All in all, as described. The electrical posts are amusingly distributed and not sufficient for all pitches. Nevertheless, more than fair for €12. Payment possible via Parkster. Water on site, but disposal only at the sewage treatment plant.

Beautiful pitch on the Main, directly at the ferry on a meadow. Chemical toilets can be emptied. Toilets are available. Electricity is also available. Restaurants and wine sales are very close. Truly recommended.

For us, this idyllic little spot was probably the most beautiful place on our tour through southern/southwestern Germany. Very spacious and quiet, with a wonderful view of the vineyards and the Vogelsburg. Bakery in the immediate vicinity.

Beautiful large site, and the price is okay too. Across the river it costs €28. Toilets, water, rubbish, and electricity available.

Very beautiful, idyllic pitch directly on the Main. Perfect for a relaxing weekend.

We have been coming here to this beautiful site for about ten years. Unfortunately, it gets more expensive every year. They have invested in electricity, disposal, toilet containers, and so on. But now a limit has been reached, especially since the toilet container (financed by the pitch fees) is also used free of charge by canoeists, swimmers, and others. Accordingly, it looks like it! No hygiene whatsoever.
