Been here?
A rocky outcrop with beautiful wide views, reached by a steep, rough track over loose stones. The access is currently partly obstructed by a fallen tree and requires a suitable off-road vehicle with good ground clearance and traction. The road is audible during the day, while the top is relatively level but difficult to turn around on.

The road is relatively loud during the day, with a wide view over the Hinkelstein area. Moderately interesting. There are currently two or three branches blocking the lower section that could be sawn off if needed. Easy to turn around at the top with a T5. The ascent requires some momentum for front-wheel-drive vehicles, while an all-wheel-drive bus can climb comfortably. Overall, nothing dramatic, but definitely not a campsite for the white-glitter brigade. Keep it clean!Translating
The access road is currently partly blocked by a fallen tree. With an off-road-capable vehicle, it is possible to drive around it. The way up is over loose rocks, so think carefully before attempting it. But the view from the top is superb. Unfortunately, we could not reach the site with our vehicle.Translating
Phenomenal view. Up on the rock, you feel removed from the world. The gravel track is more like a field of rubble. You need courage and momentum to charge up. Once at the top, it is level. I consider turning around there risky.Translating
Simple and effective, beside the road, but the noise is acceptable at night. The lake is next to it, along with sheep. Perfect when traveling toward Stavanger.Translating
Our T4 is just over five meters long, and we turned around at the top. That gave us a full-width view of the sunlit rock massif! Great spot to our taste, and in good weather we had it entirely to ourselves. However, we strongly recommend inspecting the route on foot beforehand and thinking through how to proceed!Translating
Also accessible for large vehicles...but you need grip and power. Did it with dubble air tires.
