Been here?
A small, free parking area beside an old castle ruin is suitable for up to 2 motorhomes and offers a quiet overnight stop. A public toilet, benches and picnic tables are available, although recent comments mention an unpleasant smell and mosquitoes from the nearby swamp. The ruin is easily accessible, and a local-products shop is nearby. Occasional morning tractors and a neighbour’s friendly dog may be noticed.

Decent, quiet place with a public toilet. However, the “lake” (swamp) causes an unpleasant smell and mosquitoes. The ruin is nothing particularly special either.
Wonderful little spot, and indeed there is a very sweet Labrador who gives you her paw for a piece of sausage. Perfect for an overnight stay. The toilet is less appealing—you can immediately see the cesspit underneath—but it would do in an emergency. Beautifully peaceful with a great view. Recommended!
We stopped for lunch, but spending the night would certainly be possible. The “black Labrador” will accompany you on the tour of the property—thanks to him for the visit!
Perfect stop for a night. Nice benches and 24/7 public toilet. The highlight was definitely the labrador that came to say hello and spend some time with us. Shes very friendly :)
Quiet at night. The neighbor’s dog came and barked beside our van several times in the evening, but he was barking at the wind. He is very friendly. The toilets are clean and the ruins are nice.
Great place, idyllically located. The Labbi lady was the highlight for our dog, and the ruin is worth visiting.
Very good place to stop for a break or overnight: there are a few groups of benches and a clean toilet. We spent one night here; it was very quiet and peaceful, with only birdsong and frogs croaking. Across the road are the ruins of an old castle, worth visiting.
Clean little parking area with a worthwhile ruin. The toilet is a modern pit toilet. Free of charge. Perhaps the passing tractors in the morning should be mentioned, although we did not find them too bothersome.
Small parking area with a toilet. As a woman alone, I did not feel comfortable there by myself, because I felt very exposed. It would probably be different with other campers, so I deducted one star.
A great overnight spot near an old castle ruin. Quiet; in the morning, birdsong is the only thing you hear.
Good place for one night. Located on a quiet road, and we had little trouble from passing traffic. Toilet available for emergencies; we preferred using our own toilet.
The toilet, small park, tables, and benches are all perfect. The night was quiet. We also had a visit from the house dog, who is very affectionate. There is also a small shop selling local products, and of course the ruined castle is very easy to visit. Worth remembering.
Highly recommended! Anyone looking for a secluded, well-maintained parking area and a quiet overnight stay is in exactly the right place here. The toilet is well maintained and was emptied overnight. The farm dog Freja is very sweet and kept us company throughout the evening. In front of the castle ruin there is also a small self-service shop selling jam and fresh potatoes. We will return!
Very beautiful and quiet place. Go and see the castle, and why not buy some jam to support the service.
Beautiful, quiet place for one night. In the end, three of us were staying here. A dog from the local farm wandered around in the afternoon and evening. It was very friendly and curious. Visitors to the ruin also came by from time to time.
Very quiet, with hardly any traffic. A few visitors to the ruin come and go; at night, with another camper, it was wonderful.
Excellent parking area opposite the ruins, with toilets available but no services. Extremely quiet, and a small jar of rhubarb jelly is available at the farm opposite! A lovely place.
Quiet, free parking area opposite the ruin. Public toilets right next to it.
A genuinely beautiful, large parking area. It is directly beside the road, but that is not a problem. There is a toilet here—a modern pit toilet—but no sink. Opposite is a large farm, with a castle ruin right beside it. Nice for walking around. We stayed here for one night and found it perfectly fine :)
Good location with a picnic table and toilets. Castle ruins just behind it. However, many vehicles pass by.
Very nice corner with a view of the castle ruins. Not very spacious, maximum three vehicles. Also often used by local people as a meeting place. Picnic table and clean toilets available.
Great, very peaceful place! I did not use the toilets, but they are available. The ruins are quite attractive.
Quiet, and the ruins are nice. However, there are many people for such a small parking area. There are toilets.
Fantastic place to spend the night. Toilet with a bin available, as well as tables and benches. Very clean and well maintained.
