Large, flat, free parking area on the docks beside the water, about 1 km from Dunkirk city centre and around 10 minutes from the beach. It has many spaces, bins and no height restriction, while free disposal is available about 500 meters away. Nights are often quiet, but boat activity, morning noise and mosquitoes can be noticeable, especially near the quay.

We used the site in July, from July 15 to 17, and slept well. The city centre and the beach are only 10 minutes away. No disposal facilities on site, but free facilities about 500 metres away. Bins on site. Located directly by the water.Translating
For one night: free parking, very, very quiet. There aren't many cars in the car park and the city centre isn't far away. However, we wanted to sleep with the windows half open and were eaten alive by mosquitoes, so be careful not to make the same mistake.Translating

Quite quiet at night, although there may be some noise if there is activity on the boats during the night. The spaces farther from the quay are probably better. If you enter via the Leughenaer Tower, there is no height restriction. Very good place; we felt safe. People left their motorhomes and went to visit the city, and we saw nothing suspicious. Quiet night; a cargo ship docked right behind us, which was interesting.Translating

Free car park at the marine docks. Large vehicles, buses and trucks can fit here. No height restriction. Within walking distance of the city, with several bars, cafés and restaurants. As a woman alone, I would not stay here overnight. My partner would. Together, I would feel comfortable.Translating
