A spacious, fairly level daytime parking area about 200m from the mining museum, suitable for cars and motorhomes. Recent reports describe easy parking for vehicles up to 6.5m, although availability and access have varied. There are no services, and the area can be noisy in the morning. The museum car park nearby is gated and closes at 19.00.

They allow motorhomes to park diagonally without any problem. It’s easy to park a six-metre motorhome, as in our case, and even a 6.5-metre one. We didn’t stay overnight.
No possibility of parking here in a motorhome as only 5 car bays now at the side of the museum shown in the photo and all occupied. 20m further on along the road is the official car park for the museum which is gated and which closes at 19.00. The guy at the museum said ok to park our 7m motorhome in there until 19.00 so we could visit the museum. Very limited space!
Spacious, level spaces. Centrally located for visiting the mining museum, 200 metres away, and the town. A little noisy in the morning.
Forget this one. I was asked to leave before they locked the gates at 19.00. Not very friendly as it was 2 days before Xmas.
Very spacious for three or four motorhomes. Good place to spend the night, although somewhat noisy because of the local residents.
