A magnificent place, full of greenery, a fantastic park, and very close to the Herrenhäuser Gardens. I spent two very peaceful and pleasant nights.
Currently fenced off and being used as a storage area.
The parking area was full. We spent two nights in the street leading to it, alongside the park near the university and royal gardens. Very lively at weekends. Perfect for those who go to bed late and get up early. No services. Bins in the park are emptied every morning.
Really nice place directly in the university park. Warm, sunny evening with many people. Quiet at night. A 20-minute walk to the center. Recommended.
Currently closed because of construction. Huge gravel piles are stored there.
My favorite place to spend the night in my hometown. Quiet and pleasant overnight. Unfortunately, last time it was very littered. ☹️

As described. Located at the entrance to allotment gardens, so at most two small motorhomes or campers.
We spent a quiet night here. In the morning, you can sit on a blanket in the green park and have breakfast. Many students came by during the day.
