Level town site, facilities unavailable

Although I sleep in the car, in summer at 1–2 p.m. there is nothing going on; the overnight guests in motorhomes only arrive in the evening. Accordingly, I was able to fill my four 10-liter fresh-water containers without any problem for a 50-cent coin. The machine requires exact change. Absolutely brilliant :)

Unfortunately, all the sanitary facilities are currently out of service, as is the waste disposal. In that case, €10 per 24 hours would have been sufficient.

Great place! €15 for 24 hours, although €20 would also be reasonable. Close to the motorway and very good for excursions into the Egerland region.

Good location in the center of town, beautiful large pitches with payment machines for electricity, exemplary sanitary facilities, spotlessly clean and spacious. Payment is made the old-fashioned way, with a tenner in an envelope. Great praise to the town of Selb! A truly excellent place.

We are here for the fourth time. Everything is clean and inexpensive. Eating at the Bræustübl is part of the experience! Thanks to the town administration and the people responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order. A good motorhome site!

This was not our first time here—a truly great place. It is cleaned every evening and is very clean. It is well located for walking into the center, to Edeka, and for going on walks. Thanks to the town; may it remain this way for a long time.

€10.00 per night is truly a moderate price. Showers for €0.50 are excellent, especially since the water is actually hot. Everything is clean and well maintained. Thank you to the town of Selb!

Gray-water disposal is free and works perfectly! Great place!

We were passing through and very satisfied. Everything is clean and everything you need is available. Of course there is a road, but this is a motorhome site, not a five-star campsite.

We only stopped to fill up with water, €0.50 for 50 liters. Perfect and uncomplicated!!!

Great place in the middle of town. Shops nearby, and it is nice and quiet toward the water. Payment on site in the envelope provided. Good place for passing through or exploring Selb.

Centrally located site with clean sanitary facilities. Unfortunately, it is not a safe area and is not peaceful. My husband was threatened by two teenagers in the restroom. After the police arrived, we drove on—we did not feel safe staying there. A shame about the site; from now on we will give this place a wide berth.

Spacious, drinking water for 50-cent coins, service water, waste disposal, toilets, and pitches. Everything is clean.

Beautiful motorhome site with all kinds of service facilities. Thank you to the town of Selb. We always enjoy coming here, including for shopping.

We always stop here when passing through and enjoy the excellent shower. We also visit the Blockhütte Selb restaurant every time. It serves very good Bavarian food and has ample parking for motorhomes along the road.

It is still a beautiful motorhome site for my shopping trips to the Rosenthal porcelain factory. The price of €10 per night has remained constant for years. What annoys us, however, is that it feels as though every ten minutes a vehicle with young people stops and they relieve themselves in the toilets. Otherwise, many thanks to the staff who keep the site clean.

Good value for money. However, the adjacent road is quite noisy. Unfortunately, Selb is deteriorating more and more. There are always motorhome drivers who think the pitch markings do not apply to them and squeeze into every gap.

Today I only needed to dispose of gray and black water. I was surprised that all the pitches were reserved. There is no space for spontaneous arrivals. Otherwise, the site is excellent.

Pointless. There is a restroom building with access 24/7, but I am not allowed to park my van here because I do not have a toilet on board. Someone explain the logic. Well, we will keep looking; otherwise the place would have been nice…

Very clean motorhome site; the sanitary facilities are also cleaned very well and are therefore in a condition that makes you feel comfortable using them. At €10 per night and €0.50 for a shower, and the same for electricity if needed, it is an excellent price. Thumbs up. Compliments to the town of Selb for making this site available to motorhome travelers.

5 Stars for the town council and this wonderful stelleplatz. Very disappointed with the town though, run-down areas and vacant shops.
