Natural parking, overcrowding risk

The parking area is really nice, but self-contained converted vehicles are not welcome. The woman checking tickets was incredibly unfriendly and gave every camper a ticket, sometimes because the ticket had expired by 10 minutes. All the campers there were very annoyed and frustrated. We will never park there again. Such a shame.

Always full now! Motorhomes park everywhere! Too narrow, too little space, too many motorhomes!

We stayed here over Pentecost and still got a place on Pentecost Saturday. Very quiet site, but unfortunately none of the 10 spaces offers a view of the Main, so one star deducted. The sewage treatment plant opposite also caused an extremely unpleasant smell, so a second star deducted. The bin at the site, which was too small, was emptied on Pentecost Sunday, which was positive.

Perfect for self-sufficient campers who like peace and enjoy drinking wine. Cost: €8 per 24 hours. Space for 8 vehicles.

A gem on the Main for self-sufficient campers. There is a small service point at the fire station 500 m up the road. Very quiet; even the ferry is not disturbing. Swimming is only partially possible. Volkach, Schwarzach, and Kitzingen are easily reachable by bike! Payment via Parkster is straightforward.

That is how they should be: not suitable for luxury motorhome users who need electricity and water, but ideal for self-sufficient campers. Add a few more trees for shade and you have a top spot. Wonderfully quiet and dog-friendly.

Very beautiful, natural parking area. Pay €8 at the parking meter or via Parkster; it was also checked on Sunday. There are plenty of good places to eat nearby. A few metres further on there is a small access point to the water where you can swim. Directly by the ferry there was also a small bar, which unfortunately was closed. Gladly again.

Beautiful natural spot, close to the ferry. Pure holiday feeling. Water and waste services 500 m away at the fire station. Cycling and hiking trails, idyllic villages, small towns—everything your heart could desire. We will return....

Great spot; €8 is fine too. It is right on the cycle path. We stayed for 2 nights and slept very well. There is a service station at the fire station about 500 m from the parking area.

Beautifully located directly on the Main with a fantastic view of the greenery. Volkach is a pretty town with nice shops. You can take lovely walks with dogs at the site. There is also a large rubbish bin; payment at the machine is straightforward. Anyone who can camp self-sufficiently should stop here.

Quiet place where we found a spot late at night. The Mainschleife is a special landscape, although you cannot see the entire loop from anywhere. Volkach is very pleasant. The ferry crossing is good.
