Yes, this aire is really great and, precisely, fellow motorhome travelers, it must be preserved. To begin with—and I am not even talking about the magnificent view—there are indeed rubbish bins at this aire. So avoid leaving your glass bottles at the foot of these bins; there are selective recycling containers 50 m away, opposite the Jean le Dindon restaurant. A little civic-mindedness, please.
Very well-positioned free aire with a superb view in a lovely, very quiet village. I recommend it.
Thank you to this little village for its welcome, electricity, toilets, etc., all free of charge. A magnificent view, absolutely top-notch.
A beautiful view, peaceful and quiet. Thank you to the municipality for this facility and for coming out when the coin machine malfunctioned.
We already knew this aire and this magnificent village. Everything is excellent: €2 for water, using €1 coins, free electricity, and a breathtaking view. Nothing to complain about. Many thanks to the municipality.
Thank you to the municipality for this aire! Superb view and beautiful walks to enjoy! Peaceful night.
A huge thank-you to the municipality for this site; I have rarely seen such a service! Just one suggestion, not a criticism: create a sign highlighting the beautiful hiking routes accessible to as many people as possible, the waterfall and the Narces, and especially the circuit around Mount Signon, with its educational trail showcasing the now-disappeared work of the slate workers.
What fantastic aire and a spectacular view and evened snowed to add to the atmosphere thank you to the town for providing this
Wow! We want more motorhome aires like this one. It has everything going for it. A €2 service point for emptying. The aire is free, and as an added bonus, electricity is free. Through the windshield there is a dreamlike view of the crater of an ancient volcano. The Narces hike starts next to the aire and helps you better understand the site. Many thanks to the town hall for the welcome.
Superb view, public toilets, very beautiful village.
Perfect. Really nice. Very beautiful walks nearby. The only tiny issue is the church bells going off at 7 p.m. and 7 a.m.; it helps you be up early. Fortunately, they are silent the rest of the time.
Very nice rural aire. Very quiet. Beautiful view. The service point does not work.
I came today to fill the water tank, but it was impossible, probably because it is winterized this season. Superb view.
We stayed one night. Very beautiful landscape with a view of Mount Mézenc. However, there was no water, which is understandable if it is winterized, but the electrical hookups were not powered either. A shame.
Indeed, a very beautiful aire in a charming little village. Unfortunately, everything is shut off during this period—no water and no electricity—so we did not stay. A shame.
Thank you to the municipality for providing free electricity. This aire has a magnificent and peaceful view. I recommend it.
Thank you to the municipality for this very welcoming aire. Peace and quiet guaranteed. Starting point for short hikes, the Narces and Mount Signon. Free electricity and only €2 for a full tank of water.
Thank you for this well-located motorhome aire in your municipality. We should not complain about the negligible €2 water charge, since the rest—parking and electricity—is free.
Very beautiful place, hiking nearby, view of Mézenc. Water service is paid, but emptying grey and black water is free. Toilets right next door. Thank you to the municipality. Unfortunately, the restaurants were closed, but there are nice shops in Les Estables with local products.
I don't understand why the author adds 'for the lazy' in the description of the place. Perhaps it is someone with a hedgehog-skin wallet. I don't think I am lazy, but sometimes I have breakfast in a café. That at least contributes to the life of the municipality. Otherwise, the site is well located in a pretty village with a beautiful view. Thank you to the municipality.
What a beautiful village with a stunning view, a dream location, and the Maison du Bœuf Fin Gras with a charming hostess and her country café. Don't hesitate—you will be pleasantly surprised. Thank you to this little municipality, and see you soon.
A very beautiful aire with about ten spaces and a magnificent view of Mount Mézenc and the surrounding area—not to mention the La Table de Valles restaurant above the aire, offering either pizza or grilled local meat depending on the day, with the kind of welcome we love!
Perfect! Peaceful, level, with a great view. Well equipped and free. Thank you to the municipality! A fine example!
Beautiful aire with all services free of charge. Thank you, municipality. However, we followed previous reviews about the village shops. One small restaurant—the one mentioned in earlier reviews—was closed Monday and Tuesday. No problem, I tried another one, also closed Monday and Tuesday, and the third was closed Tuesday and Wednesday! If, like me, you come on Tuesday to eat at a restaurant, go somewhere else.
Very good service aire with a magnificent view of Mézenc. Don't hesitate to visit La Table de Valles nearby; the food is excellent and good value. Supporting these young restaurateurs is one way to thank the municipality for welcoming motorhome travelers.
Many thanks to the municipality for welcoming us so well! Parking is free and we can connect to electricity. It is truly great! The waterfall is still flowing! Bravo!
We spent two nights with friends—excellent. Thank you to the municipality. We will return.
Thank you to the town hall: free site with all amenities and a superb view of Mézenc. I invite you to eat at La Table de Valles, run by Antony and Florine, where you can enjoy excellent pizzas and quality food. A mutually beneficial arrangement.
Many thanks to the municipality for this superb aire with a magnificent view and a very beautiful village!
A big thank-you to the municipality for this site: wonderful view, quiet, lots of walking and hiking opportunities, and everything free except water. Unfortunately, it is difficult to show our appreciation to the residents through shopping and so on.
