Lochside views, severe midges

Really gorgeous spot slightly set back from the road relative to other options! Quite sheltered and reasonably flat. Quiet with only very few cars passing at night. Gorgeous view!

Nice little spot. Arrived around 8pm and nobody really passed by. Quite sheltered from the wind and great views all round with a little waterfall from the hill and the loch too. Saw lots of deer nearby on the drive too

Great place to spend a night. Sheltered from the wind. There is only one level area; the rest is sloping, but to see this you need to arrive during the day. The road is not very busy. In September there were no mosquitoes, but we had the very pleasant surprise of hearing the rutting calls above our heads, with stags and hinds! View over the bay.

beautiful quiet spot with our personal waterfall to fall asleep too. did get eaten alive be midges in the morning that's the only downfall but 5/5 for the view and there was plenty of space for our rooftop tent.

Spot sheltered from the wind because it is against a large rock face. Unobstructed view of the loch. Muddy and not very level ground, but our priority was sheltering from the wind with the rooftop tent. Little or no play space for children, however. A few midges.

Nice place, good view and mini waterfall; there are some insects and the camper is fairly level. Until 11 pm there was heavier truck traffic, then it became fairly quiet. We stayed here in a westerly wind of force 6/7 and were nicely sheltered from the wind.

Lovely little spot with a little waterfall but oh my god, the midges!!! We ended up having to leave as there was literally thousands. Really sad as this would of been a great place to stay

After some manoeuvring, we managed to stand reasonably level, slightly beside a bend in the road, somewhat sheltered by the rock face. Beautiful view.
