210 Peine de Mur, 64270, Castagnède
Been here?
A natural picnic area beside the Gavés where overnight stays are possible, with easy access to the river and a pebble beach. The river can provide a soothing sound, and the area is clean and preserved. The spot can also be busy with people passing to the water, so vehicles should remain on the paths and leave room for traffic.

Lovely spot in nature, clean and preserved. We slept very well, lulled by the sound of the Gave river. Thank you for continuing to take care of these places.Translating
Perfect for swimming, with a good water spot and the possibility of jumping from the bridge for the brave! Certainly frequented, but by regulars who have the right spirit. Ideal for recharging your batteries; the only small drawback is that you need to improvise and adapt to make the van’s location work perfectly. We recommend it!Translating
Great place to rest and enjoy the water! Large area to leave the van and jump into the water, but be careful: the area is not very suitable for sleeping.Translating
I do not recommend it; it is really not great for sleeping. There is little space, we are beside the path and feel as though we are in the way. Lots of people pass through to get to the river. We stayed because it was already late, otherwise we would have left. In addition, there is a dog-faeces smell everywhere.Translating
Peaceful overnight spot. The river was a raging muddy torrent from recent rains.
Quite nice, with many places beside the water, but watch out for farmers' fields and stay on the paths. Many locals and vans in the area, but it is a beautiful place. Stay civilised; the place was dirty.Translating
We did not spend the night, but it is a great spot for swimming.Translating
