Mount Folly Farm Camping

Not the sort of site we'd normally choose, but we were meeting a group of friends. Superb views, short but steep walk to stunning beaches, very very busy with pitches tightly packed together. The owner has a very strict no music/no noise policy, which meant it was surprisingly quiet at night

Very dog friendly site! Great view, sloping so need the wedges out for levelling and a hut that is self service for coffee, eggs, flavoured local milk, sourdough, bbq wood/kindling and more… my dog loved going to the beach from there as it’s about a 10 minute walk away. Will definitely be visiting again, just wish they had WiFi as no reception there.

Great location with a wonderful view. Cash only. The sanitary facilities are clean but uninviting. We find the price slightly overpriced.

We stayed here for 1 night in our tent box. The pizza van and vending machine were a fantastic bonus! The main camping field (no electric) has outstanding views of Burgh Island! The toilets are okay, but definitely in need of an update. !!! Hot water is 20p in the washing up area !!! We got caught out by this and couldn’t do our dishes but not the end of the world

The views were amazing I stayed in a tent last summer right at the front with a great view! Toilets and showers were as advertised and shown but I have heard there have been many changes during this year! I will definitely be back this year but this time staying in our converted campervan !

We were only going to stay one night, but ended up staying 3. The view is fabulous, the walk to the beach is across the fields, and the beach itself was splendid. My only criticism was that the showers are a little grim, but other than that, I can't fault it. We will definitely be coming back.

3 nights booked non electric. Great views & found a pitch that I could almost get the van level, that’s where the positive stops! The campsite is advertised as a quiet peaceful site this was certainly not the case during my stay, dogs running free, kids everywhere & over all the pitches, Saturday pitch next to me 8 vehicles & 5 tents, carried on partying ‘til 2a.m. Left a day early, won’t be back!

Well... the view is a dream, one of the most beautiful I have had in Great Britain. But the campsite cannot take credit for that. The pitches are extremely sloped and cannot be leveled even with high ramps. The toilets are tolerably clean, but the containers are extremely dilapidated—rust everywhere, peeling paint, and very ramshackle. An insane list of rules about what you are not allowed to do, such as absolutely no music.

Gorgeous views and great amenities! A very peaceful campsite. The ground is quite hilly but we were lucky to get a reasonably flat spot. I imagine in busy times you might be sleeping on a wonk but otherwise really lovely place!

Really nice campsite with stunning views. Very peaceful and some fantastic walks we will definitely revisit soon.

The view is fantastic. Hiking is possible directly from the site. We were in a quiet, secluded spot. Most pitches are quite sloped, so be sure to bring leveling wedges. Showers are okay and hot water is reliable. Coins were only required for washing up. We will come again!

Incredible view out to sea and overlooking Burgh Island, Bantham Bolt Tail and more… coffee shack including pastries sandwiches and smoothies, Bigbury Bay Pizza every evening, Sour dough Bread in the morning,.. lovely maintained area albeit sloping, very quiet as No music allowed … great place to get away… highly recommended

Very beautiful location. Great for hiking to Burgh Island. Important! There is no reception there; you must book and pay via the website. We were not initially aware of this.

Magnificent view, certainly. Cute animals, and a café and pastry shop in the morning—excellent! Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities are tired, and hot water for washing dishes, as well as using power sockets or hair dryers, costs extra. For the price (£10 per person without electricity), these could be included.

Stayed here a couple night this week. Couple mins from the beach. Basic but very clean facilities including warms showers! Most of the site is sloped but towards the top is more flat. Great views of the sea and sunset. Coffee shop etc is closed as out of season but to be expected.
