Camping Ducasse

After spending three nights at Camping Ducasse, we can only confirm the other reviews. A simple, peaceful, very shady place with spacious pitches where nature lovers can recharge. And the icing on the cake is the bike rental and Béatrice’s advice for reaching the beaches on two wheels. We highly recommend it.✦Translating

On other sites, two or three motorhomes would be parked on pitches of this size! Basic but spotlessly clean sanitary facilities. From 10 p.m. onward, all you hear is the little owl. If you like being away from the hustle and bustle, this is the right place.✦Translating

This is the second time we have come to this highly recommendable campsite. If you are looking for peace and quiet, greenery, enormous pitches, clean and functional sanitary facilities, a low price (€25 for a van, two people and electricity in high season), and a very friendly welcome, this is the place.✦Translating

We arrived around 10 a.m. and were unfortunately received very rudely, being told that everything was already completely full. We were eventually turned away to a spot outside the site beside a shed where work continued until late at night, yet we still had to pay the full €20. Anyone seeking peace and quiet is in exactly the right place at this rather small but wonderful, simple campsite. You stand under large old oak trees in the shade, and the pitches are huge. The sanitary block is small (three toilets and three showers, not separated by gender) but very clean. Expect peace, lush nature and very friendly campsite operators.✦Translating

Everything on the coast was full, so we ended up at Béatrice’s, under the trees, in absolute peace and quiet. A godsend in this heat. Huge pitches, immaculate sanitary facilities with large, very practical showers. Be careful: this is a natural camping area, and the ground is not flat everywhere.
