A daytime parking viewpoint with a spectacular panorama over Lake Annecy, the Bauges massif and, in clear weather, Mont Blanc. Snow must be absent, and heating is compulsory. Overnight stays are not permitted because of a prefectural prohibition, while the viewpoint can attract passing visitors for photographs.

Beautiful spot with a magnificent view of the mountains, including Mont Blanc, as well as the lake.
The spot in its purest form!! A breathtaking panorama. For us: Mont Blanc and all the surrounding high peaks. Quite a lot of traffic because people stop for panorama photos, but it is worth it.

Breathtaking viewpoint, the best spot in the area... But... around 8 p.m., someone from the National Forestry Office politely asked us to leave after our meal because a prefectural order prohibits bivouacking... So it is not possible to sleep there... We turned back a few hundred meters before, near the Nordic chalet on the plateau.
Unfortunately, there was an invasion of flies at this time of year. Impossible to leave the windows and doors open! The view is magnificent, but it is impossible to stay.

Extraordinary viewpoint over the valley and Lake Annecy. Beware, it is highly weather-dependent. Construction work is underway a few hundred meters higher up, so large construction vehicles pass early in the morning. Looking forward to coming back.
Roadside spot on a very busy road until 9:30 p.m. The view is incredible, with a panorama of Mont Blanc depending on the weather! One or two flat spaces; three or four spaces usable with leveling blocks.
Magnificent view of Lake Annecy and its mountains, unfortunately with a lot of traffic and vehicles at this location. Plan to arrive early to enjoy the best view! I recommend it.
Magnificent view and sunrise, flat ground for three or perhaps four vehicles. The road is a little noisy with passing traffic.
Excellent spot; bring leveling blocks. There are parking areas farther up if there are no spaces left, also with a view. But here, the view of Mont Blanc and the lake is truly splendid. For early risers, a breathtaking sunrise.
