Peaceful village area, frequent bells

Many thanks to the municipality. One small drawback: there are no trash bins on site (they are closed), and of those near the apiary, only one is open.

Hello fellow motorhome travellers. Important information: parking is mandatory in front of the church. Please leave the spaces free for the local-market vendors on Friday evenings. Closed on June 20–21 and June 28–29 for Saint John’s fires and a mountain-bike ride. Attention: Saturday, June 20, 2026: the disposal area and parking are closed for the Saint John’s fire. Sunday, June 28, 2026: the disposal area is closed for the mountain-bike ride.

Good place to spend the night. In the middle of the village, next to the church. Filling and emptying facilities are great and everything is free; thanks to the municipality. A contribution can be left in the mailbox. However, at 7 a.m. the church bell demonstrates everything a bell can do.

We stayed for a peaceful night. Did a good walk up the hill behind the village with views down into the valley. Thank you to the village for the facility.

Very clean! We only emptied our tanks; everything was functional. Thank you to the town hall.

Nice, level parking area for rather small motorhomes. The church bell rings every 15 minutes from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. There is a youth recreation centre at the parking area, so in good weather there were many young people there at the weekend playing football, riding scooters and having fun. Very polite children; when the ball hit our vehicle, they came over to apologize.

Access to the various parking areas is very narrow and does not allow easy manoeuvring. In addition, no spaces are identified for motorhomes, and those that are identified are the size of normal car spaces. We could not park, so we went farther on.

Electricity does not work (not an EU plug but a standard socket—not intended for motorhomes). No motorhome parking spaces signposted. Water supply shut off. This is not a motorhome parking area but a disposal station.

A lovely informal Aire with all the facilities you would expect. it is a normal carpark with no signs, but we were pointed in the right direction by someone picking up their child. Church bells start at 6am! Payment by donation into a letterbox by the disposal point

Very quiet little village with all services available, shops nearby and a pizza truck on Friday evening. I do not know whether it is there on other days, but the pizzas are good and generous. A mobile hairdresser is on the square on Saturday morning. I will return.

We were only looking for a quiet place to spend the night and came to this village. Since the spaces are directly on the main road and everyone coming down from the mountain drives through, it was still very noisy after 11 p.m. on a weekday because cars were driving too fast. And yes, there are church bells—at least you know the time. But you jump out of bed when they start at 6 a.m. It was not our place.

Beautiful little village. We spent a very quiet night; the bells stop at 10 p.m. and start again at 7 a.m. Services are free—thank you to the municipality—so do not forget to leave a small contribution in the mailbox. I recommend this aire.

Very friendly little village facing the mountain and next to the church, whose bells ring—as Mimijojo says, at least you know the time. Small grocery shop. Black- and grey-water disposal. Be careful: bring a large-diameter connector for drinking water.

Mr Palcherpas67, the service area is exceptionally closed today because of the village flea market. You must have noticed, since there were barriers everywhere and information signs. As for the spaces in front of the church, we favour them during the school period to leave room for dropping off children. Thank you for your understanding.

So, yes, you can park in front of the church, but these are only car-parking spaces: narrow and sloping. It is quiet, but a drinks truck parked its trailer directly in front of the disposal area, obviously blocking it for at least the day, even though there was space all around and several motorhomes were parked. The welcome could be better.

We spent 3 quiet nights; the bells did not bother us, and at least we knew the time. We also went walking and cycling (10 km and 30 km via Saint-Dié). Thank you to the municipality for making everything available, and fellow motorhome travellers, if you use the services, leave something in the mailbox.

I was able to recharge my battery, take on water to continue my journey and empty my wastewater. Excellent, thank you. Give whatever you like to the municipality in the box.

Attention! I am also a motorhome traveller, but I also come with my professional vehicle to empty 400 litres of water. This takes about 45 minutes. I come every day—Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday—between 8:00 and 8:15. Despite several people getting angry, I am sorry for the inconvenience, but it is necessary for my professional activity, and I thank you for your understanding.

Very small pitches; a motorhome does not fit. The idea was to stop and relax, but our 7.5-metre motorhome did not fit, so we continued on the road to the next area. :(

Clean and well maintained, water and waste disposal in exchange for a donation, water connection with a 1-inch thread, no rubbish disposal (the bins are fenced off and must not be used), only car parking spaces.

Nicely arranged small parking area with waste disposal and green spaces. Quiet at night. From 7 a.m., church bells every 15 minutes, plus people coming and going to the bakery. Not suitable for late risers. Thanks to the municipality for providing it.

All services are available and free. The parking area is flat but not very practical for large motorhomes. A little noise from the bells ringing every quarter hour, but we are in a charming little village. Thanks to the town hall for this spot. Remember to make a small donation before leaving.

Nice place to stay for one or a few nights. The water worked perfectly when we were there; we did not use electricity. The bells ring as bells do, but otherwise there were only birds singing!

The water is working again. We can confirm the bells ring every fifteen minutes. Four electrical outlets on the wall of the chalet. Large parking area. It can help for one night.

This is a joke. No water or electricity; everything is closed. Today, Sunday, there were no cars, so maneuvering was easy, but the space was too short. We are not staying. You got our hopes up.

It deserves to exist—clean and free! You can spend the night here—thanks to the municipality. Be careful: you need a wide adapter to fill the fresh-water tank.
