Camping Sandaya Soulac Plage

A complete joke! Deal-breaking defects. For the pitches closest to the beach, there is no way to fill a watering can to replenish your water. There is no waste-water drain in the sanitary facilities. We were assigned an unmarked pitch that would barely be acceptable for a tent at other campsites! Motorhomes should avoid this campsite.

Good campsite, with two drawbacks: the path lighting is far too bright, causing light pollution all night, and it is 500 metres to a supervised beach. Still five stars.

Good campsite. Our sanitary block is recent and clean, with a beautiful beach nearby, very friendly staff, and decent pitches with plenty of shade.

We spent a few days at this supposedly four-star campsite, but it does not deserve the rating. The pitches are not marked out and two of the four sanitary blocks are outdated. Apart from that, the staff are very kind, and the water park, snack bar and grocery store are excellent. Sea view, but no real accessible beach. The Vélodyssée runs in front of the campsite.

the best beach we encountered so far on our trip down the west coast, no stones or seaweed, surfing on site, stunning waves when the tide comes in and amazing sunset from the beach bar, shop does fresh pastries in the morning, great pool with slides, spots with and without shade, park reasonably quiet in June but meant to be 10x busier in July and August

Clean and pleasant campsite, especially if you have children. Welcoming staff. Shaded pitches. Nice pool, shops and a lovely bar on the seafront promenade. However, for a real beach, you have to go towards Amélie or Soulac.

A wonderful week with the family, spread across vans and bungalows. Surfing on site, good-quality sports activities, nice pool and beach. It is a good club-style campsite. Come to keep children and teenagers occupied, not for peace and quiet!

The site is one of the most beautiful on the coast in terms of its views and lovely sea. Our pitch was large, and despite the many people, we had quiet nights. Organisationally, they could improve somewhat on such a large campsite with so many facilities, but in the end we had everything we needed. We would be happy to return.

Nice site, very spacious. Warm water only came sporadically from the shower, and the toilets could have been cleaned more often. Otherwise reasonably priced and with everything you need. Very friendly staff.

We stayed in a mobile home—clean, well equipped and beautifully located. The campsite is right by the sea, with a wonderful view! The beach bar is a real highlight, as is the large swimming pool. A bike ride to Soulac is highly recommended. The site is quite large but well organised.

There was no hot water in either of the two shower blocks, but they were reasonably clean. For a four-star site costing €45 per night for three adults, I have higher expectations. Some power sockets are so far away that a 25-metre cable is not long enough.
