Been here?
This hardened-grass parking area overlooks Luce Bay and a rocky shoreline, offering plenty of space and sea views. There are no services, so visitors must be self-sufficient and take their rubbish away. The area is generally peaceful, with a few vehicles until 22 h and very little traffic overnight. It can be exposed to wind, but recent stays have been relaxed and extended to 2 nights.

We stopped to put the kettle on and lunch, the sun came out and we loved it so much we stayed 2 nights - relaxed and even Heidi the German Shepherd loved it!
21 June 2026. Grassy, relatively flat parking facing Luce Bay. A few cars until 10 p.m. (we are here on a Saturday), but a very quiet night. Pick up your rubbish because there are no services.
lovely and peaceful, plenty of room, no facilities, would be exposed to the wind if any
Have used here and others nearby for 20 years and I would never ever stop in a lay-by,parking spot in my van if more than one other van was there!I am saying this as a message to the new crowd of sheep in huge motorhomes who line up 2 ft away from each other and have no thought for locals or how it looks to others! 2 huge motorhomes have turned up, when already 2 vans here! Find another space.
Very noisy, strongly discouraged.
Lovely quiet spot by the sea.
excellent spot right on the shore...we are here on a Saturday night and have the place to ourselves...
We spent the night here. Little traffic at night, a bit more in the morning. No services.
