1 Ehrenfelsstraße, 55411, Bingen am Rhein
Been here?
This is a small parking area on the outskirts of Bingen beside a park and monument, with views toward the town and Rhine. It is usually quiet and suitable for about 3 or 4 motorhomes for one night, although the parking area is somewhat inclined and traffic can be heard. The town and nearby Binger Wald are reachable on foot, but the routes involve considerable slopes. The place is currently closed with no-stopping signs and is difficult to access because of roadworks.

At the moment, the site is closed with no-parking signs. It is also difficult to reach because of roadworks in the town. The location itself is excellent.Translating
The place may be peacefully quiet, but the beautiful view is at least quite overgrown directly from the car park... But it will do for one night...Translating
Nice for spending the night, and the town is also easy to reach on foot from here...Translating
We spent the night here and it was very good, really. It is slightly sloped, but it is easy to sleep here. There is a park behind it, and there is room for three or four vehicles.Translating
Lovely, quiet, shady place, perfect for one night or a stopover.Translating
Very good spot for spending the night, quiet and with no other cars.Translating
Good free park up for one night on the way to Heidelberg. Just off the road so some traffic noise but not a big problem. We were the only camper, couple of dog walkers occasionally.
Very beautiful, quiet place for self-sufficient campers and about four motorhomes, with a great view beside a small park. I slept very well here at night and felt safe. About 300 metres uphill begins the Binger Forest. All routes into town or the forest involve a lot of uphill walking. The site is somewhat sloped and requires leveling blocks. A nice stopover.Translating
Small, pretty place for a maximum of four full-sized motorhomes near a war memorial. Good TV, terrible internet.Translating
At least four spaces are available. Very quiet, and you can quickly reach the town centre. Perfect view of the Rhine in Flames festival.Translating
Great car park—it is quiet at night. In the morning, pedestrians with dogs come by, or a few cars drive past. There are benches on the adjacent meadow where you can sit.Translating
