Av. Albert Gruffat, 74700, Sallanches
Been here?
A large parking area at the Léon Curral hall, about a 5-minute walk from Sallanches, with views of the river and Mont Blanc. It has plenty of space and is suitable for all types of motorhomes, although it can fill at weekends. There are many walkers and people with dogs, with some evening activity but generally enough quiet to sleep. Approach via Av. Albert Gruffat, as navigation may send you onto a dead-end road.

Wonderful view. Be careful: Maps sends you the wrong way via a dead-end road. Drive via Avenue Albert Grüffat. There are many walkers and people with dogs, but otherwise it is a wonderful view.
Quiet, with plenty of space, although it fills up on weekends. A few people at night, but nothing that prevents you from sleeping.
Large, quiet parking area close to town. Depending on where you come from, the GPS may direct you onto a dead-end road; do not follow that direction, but continue along the unrestricted street.
No through road... no parking.
Good base for a stopover in Sallanches and suitable for all vehicles. Very large parking area, therefore somewhat restless, and we felt a little uncomfortable, but there were no problems.
Well located and quiet at night, even though there were people in the parking area until 11 p.m. on Saturday evening because of the sports zone nearby. Almost empty the next morning. Not a sound at night. Plenty of space and no size restrictions. Respect the place to preserve it for motorhome travelers and others, without the restrictions we have seen more and more in recent years.
