Hikers' parking, occasional road noise

A large, clean parking area and starting point for hiking or cycling tours. I spent a quiet night here. There is a lot of traffic in the afternoon, but it is quieter in the evening. The local farmers also had no problem with the campers. Two other motorhomes spent the night here. Seating and rubbish bins are available. You can also enjoy a good view of the sunset. Please keep the place clean so that it remains possible to spend the night here.

Simple quiet spot used on the way to Neuschwanstein Castle

It's beautiful here on a sunny, mild October morning. I had an undisturbed night's sleep but the road beside is actually quite busy and noisy at other times. Parking is almost level. Bins and a picnic table provided, lovely walks in the woods for humans and doggies, cow bells tinkling in the distance.

Very beautiful place where campers are tolerated. The local farmers are relaxed and the view is really great. However, the road is used as a through road, and cars sometimes speed past, even throughout the night. It did not bother us, but it was noticeable.

Very nice spot with overflowing rubbish bins. It is also very good for walking the dog; there were cows right next to it that mooed in the morning when the farmer came. Apart from the thunderstorm, the night was quiet and relaxing. Please keep this place clean.

Quiet night. We were two vans and one panel van. Locals come in the evening but do not stay long. Not much traffic at night, a little more from 7 a.m. Beautiful view over the countryside and the sunset.

Really good and clean places for an overnight stop. There is a picnic table and a rubbish bin. I am taking off one star for the roads nearby: little traffic, but people drive fast, so it is somewhat noisy.

Lovely place to sleep.

Very quiet and remote place. It also seems to be very clean. You can definitely stay overnight here, probably even for several nights. The main road can be seen in the distance, but you can barely hear it. There are also a few benches for resting.

Update 06/25: A sign says: “A ghost lives at this place who bites anyone here who shits in the bushes or behind the huts from below in the balls or …!” He has not bitten me yet because I have not shat around here. Very nice pitch. Table and benches for an evening meal in our case. Superb peaceful spot. Please take your rubbish with you to keep this area clean and available. Thank you to the municipality.

Easy to find, sufficiently large, and beautifully quiet. Great walking area for me and my dogs. I stayed one night from Sunday to Monday; the place was empty. Nevertheless, I did not feel uncomfortable. In the morning I was rewarded with a beautiful view of the mountains.

We slept very peacefully; it is very nice, free, and has no facilities.

Very nice spot in the middle of the fields. The road is heavily trafficked, but it is not bothersome and completely quiet at night. We were here during haymaking; the air was full of a wonderful spicy smell.

Very convenient parking area, too bad mosquitoes and horseflies spoil the atmosphere, but that is part of nature :-)

Very nice and quiet place. It is right by a small road, but there is minimal traffic at night.
