Riverside swimming, unbearable flies

This beautiful riverside wild spot offers many places and direct access to the water. The approach includes a short, rough and rocky section, and a larger rock prevents some motorhomes from reaching the water. The clear river is suitable for walking and swimming, and fishermen sometimes stop for friendly conversations. There are no bins, so rubbish must be taken away, and flies can be unbearable.

the park up was great with direct access to the river and quiet evening but the flies were unbearable!
A truly beautiful place with many opportunities to be by the water. However, we could not drive our motorhome all the way down to the water because there is a somewhat larger rock there. We would have scraped the underside. Otherwise, you can walk through the clear water.
Do not miss this stop iff you are passing it truly is amazing and if you get the chance walk back to the road cross over so you are at the start of the old bridge not the new bridge , then look to your right and see a small footpath leading down to the river , follow river upstream for about 5 minutes and you will come to a lovely waterfall. 5/5
A wonderful view. We also brought our motorcycles, and there are lovely villages and a gym nearby. Beautiful walking trails and lots to see. A peaceful place that you can truly enjoy! The fishermen who stop by are happy to have a friendly chat. Several places for campers, and we were able to park easily with our 12-metre vehicle.
Super spot, easy to park and get immersed in nature
Quiet place by the river. Access was easy via a short section of unpaved road from the main road. We were alone and enjoyed the beautiful starry sky.
Excellent place to relax, swim, and spend the night. Access is ok but a bit rough and rocky in one small section, although short. I had no problem in a 5 ton Crafter and saw many types of vehicles come down. although I did witness a large motorhome having to exit backwards for traction. you can park just at the top and walk it to see for yourself before committing.
