Large public toll-free parking at a bus terminus, with attractive views over the bay and access to the nearby fort and café. The area is slightly sloping, with recycling bins but no other services. A 2.10m height barrier is present, although it was open on a recent visit. Bus movements and occasional evening activity can create some noise.

Good free place; if you retreat farther back, there are no problems. There is a 2.10-metre barrier, but it was open when we were there. I think they close it when there are too many motorhomes. Five motorhomes stayed overnight when we were there.
There is a barrier here, but is it ever in use? It's worth trying..I have never seen it closed.

Bus terminus 220 to Cork city centre, South Mall and Camden Fort Meaghers; assistance dogs only. Large, slightly sloping car park with recycling bins, next to the sports field. Very beautiful view. We came on a rainy Sunday when there were few cars. We were alone there overnight. Nice walk with the dog between the showers.
Beautiful view, sports field parking; we were there on Wednesday evening, and the car park was full of cars until late, otherwise it was quiet at night.
