Secluded riverside, overgrown access

The road is so overgrown that the lower section is no longer passable by motorhome. At most, a small van or a vehicle with a roof tent can get through without damaging the vehicle. In 2028, without clearing the road, the site will no longer be reachable even for vans. So think carefully before driving to this remote place.

absolutely perfect, if youre like me and would prefer not to be bothered. I stayed here for three nights and saw 1 car which drove down to the river to fish. the road down is slightly overgrown, but easily navigable, plus its tarmac so no chance of getting stuck. I parked up on the tarmac square near the bottom rather than drive on the grass down to the river.

Beautiful spot, right by the water. The road there is somewhat overgrown with low-hanging branches, but it was still manageable with our old Fiat Ducato with an overcab; you have to accept a few scratches.

Amazing spot for those who love to see no one and be close to a river. The point on the map is correct, take the road to the river and then you can drive to the left on the grass and you’ll get to a spot closer to the river. There are quite some flies. The road there is definitely a little worn out but nothing impossible (we drove a Fiat Ducato).

Really beautiful, quiet, and remote place. As already mentioned, the last approximately 300 metres have many overhanging branches, but you can get through. Paved road all the way down. In the morning, peaceful cows came through the river and watched us curiously at breakfast. We were there with our T4 California—no problem. Larger motorhomes, especially overcab models, may not be recommended.

If you do not mind some branches scraping along your vehicle on the overgrown path, this is a very beautiful and peaceful place! Several parking options are available.

Jesus christ, just go to this place, it’s amazing. The location here is marked wrong i think. Just follow the road leading down to the river, it’s a dead end. There’s a fire place and a grassy place to park. Nobody around and the most beautiful nature. Coming or going from Sofia, this is the place!

Simply a dream… What more could a camper’s heart want? Absolute silence and beautiful nature. I will stay here for more than one night. There used to be a bridge down by the river, but it has not been in use for decades. That is why the old road leads down here. Not recommended for large motorhomes; the old road is narrow and many branches scrape along the way.

1 star down for a lot of insects (mostly big flies), otherwise perfect for hot summer nights - refreshingly cool water and totally secluded. Higher clearance recommended.
