Overnight parking is allowed, but camping is not.
Used one of the rear spaces to park a 7m van with no issues as it wasn’t very busy today. The roads are double width so easy to manoeuvre. Confirming that max parking is 5 hours until 6pm, but overnight camping is forbidden.
Since 2026, there has been a maximum parking limit of five hours from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The restrictions apply during the day, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., with a maximum stay of five hours. From 6 p.m. to 8 a.m., parking is unrestricted and free.
We left our motorhome there while visiting the nearby city center, we arrived around 9 AM and we easily got a place for our 23-foot-long motorhome and we felt strongly safe. Nobody bothered us nor charged us anything. The space that we got was long enough and also shaded.
Convenient for visiting the center, about a ten-minute walk away. We stopped for a couple of hours during the day.
Excellent parking for visiting the center, 1 km from Monte Cavallo ski area, and also great for the Christmas markets. Quiet and peaceful area. Recommended.
Free parking with a time disc. Remember that you may park but not camp. Perfect for visiting the Christmas markets or spending a few hours in town.
Five out of five for what it is. Right next to the supermarket and close to the motorway. No cost, and with many campers there we felt quite safe. Highly recommended for passing through.
I have stayed here at least five or six times a year for years and have never had any problems. It is level, the police never come to check arrival times, and the internet works well. No facilities. Convenient for an overnight stop, well lit and very peaceful. Highly recommended.
Excellent parking for spending the night before crossing the border. No facilities.
Attention: This is an ordinary public parking area, partly subject to a parking-disc requirement. The parking discs are actively checked by the police. Attention: This is an ordinary public parking area, partly requiring a parking disc, and it is actively monitored by the police.
Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., maximum five hours. Near the pools and supermarket. Excellent for visiting Vipiteno. Good for spending one night. Space for 40 campers or more. Many campers present.
Excellent option for spending the night. During the day there is a five-hour limit from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday. It is important to display the parking disc because traffic officers come by and fine anyone who does not display it. Do not leave steps extended, as the officers consider that camping.
Excellent location for reaching the center on foot, about 800 meters away. At night you can park for free; during the day, parking is allowed for a maximum of five free hours with the parking meter.
Excellent option for visiting Vipiteno, eating in the center, or walking along the river. Considering the five-hour daytime limit from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and the shared parking with cars, I recommend arriving after 6 p.m., when the cars have also left and there is more room to spend the night. No facilities.
Convenient for visiting the center or stopping while continuing north. There are many campers of various sizes.
Excellent parking for visiting Vipiteno, with a well-marked pedestrian route to the center. Free with a 90-minute parking disc. Maximum daytime stay is five hours. Overnight parking allowed from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. There is sometimes a market on Mondays. Clean and fairly level. Near the sports center, and there is also a playground for children around the corner.
Late evening stop at 11:30 p.m. before starting our road trip. Noisy because of the number of people. Other motorhomes arrived during the night. However, the place is clean. Fine for a short overnight stop.
Excellent parking for one stop, until 6 p.m.; a parking disc is mandatory or fines will follow. Maximum five hours. After 6 p.m. until 8 a.m. the next day, parking is free.
Excellent for spending a quiet night before continuing toward Austria. Definitely crowded, and with long campers it can be difficult to find a space. Pizzeria and gas station very close.
We stayed in a paid parking area at the entrance to the town.
Free from 6 p.m. Until 6 p.m., only five hours. It is only a parking lot, close to a pizza place.
Nice, quiet place!
Great place to drive over the Brenner in the evening and spend the night. Very relaxed, quiet surroundings. Supermarket and good pizzeria nearby.
We have stopped here several times. It is a quiet place, but caravans with trailers occupy four spaces, and people camp with loungers and tables. This is unacceptable. The locals are rightly complaining, and because of those who do not respect the rules, this opportunity will be taken away from us.
Excellent parking outside Vipiteno center. Free after 5 p.m. The town center is a 15-minute walk away. We spent a quiet night together with many other campers.
Good place for passing through. Unfortunately, the long motorhomes and motorhomes with trailers park across four or five spaces. That simply cannot be allowed. The locals are already complaining, quite rightly.
Perfect for passing through. Café and supermarket within walking distance.
Excellent free parking, maximum five hours, very close to the center. A large supermarket is right next to it, and the thermal center is also easy to reach.
