Been here?
A big, flat lay-by on a quiet road with excellent hill views and many nearby walks. It is generally quiet and clean, with good 4G reception, and the larger pull-off is north of the mapped position. A tea shop is about 1.5 km downhill and offers afternoon tea. The area also provides routes for walking and cycling, with a river suitable for dipping nearby.

stayed here two nights. really quiet and nice location to walk hills around. the tea shop about 1.5 km down hill is really nice and does afternoon tea. 4G reception continues to be good.
We stayed one night, very quiet and clean. Great route to get there as well
The bigger pull off is just north of where this place shows. Spent two nights here. Nice and quiet, easily accessible. Also it's possible to dip in the river. Good location for walking and cycling too.
Good place to stay overnight, almost no traffic at night, mobile signal, and great views. The tearoom (not a pub and open only on weekends) is a 20-minute walk along the road; behind the tearoom there are great walks, a waterfall, and more.
Very nice stop over. Quiet by 10pm and no other traffic till around 8:30 am. Fantastic scenery even through the rain and 40 mph winds ?. Very sheltered so wind was only occasionally noticeable. Would stay here again for sure. Enough room for two comfortably or three at a squeeze.
Small lay-by right on the side of the road but ideally secluded and protected from the gale force winds that were trying to roll us over in our previous location ???
Convenient scenic parking spot to walk up Cautley Spout waterfall and onto The Calf. Quiet spot, some traffic on a Friday night but quieter on Saturday. Good O2 phone signal. No amenities. We had to do a litter pick as a bit messy and the pub/inn down the road is unlicensed so if you want a beer your better going into Sedbergh. Spot is central for Yorkshire Dales and the South Lake District.
