9 Route du Fort de Penthièvre, 56510, Saint-Pierre-Quiberon
Been here?
Small seaside carpark with a 1.90m height barrier limiting access to smaller vans only. Dogs are forbidden and gendarmes patrol regularly. Quiet spot with few visitors and nearby fishers and hikers using the area, though increasingly subject to restrictions.

Dogs are prohibited yet again, the gendarmerie patrols regularly, and the small area before the parking entrance clearly is not intended as parking and will certainly result in a fine. We drove on.
1.90 m barrier. Quiet, lightly used parking area. Fishermen from 7 or 8 a.m., and joggers and hikers pass through the parking area to reach the coastal path.
This magnificent spot, accessible only to small vans, always delights us, whatever the weather or season!
To my great regret, the spot was inaccessible in May 2022. I do not thank the authority that decided to block it; extremely disappointed on 1 May 2022. The Quiberon peninsula is becoming very difficult for motorhome owners…
