Wittstrasse 13a, 84028, Landshut
Been here?
A large, mostly flat paid motorhome area beside the Isar, with views of the river and castle and a short walk to the historic center. The fee is 10€ for 24 hours, with electricity, water and disposal available at the service area; payment is made there, not at the car parking meters. Shops are 2 minutes away, the gas station across the street is open 24/7, and the area is mostly unshaded. Summer weekends, party events and the spring and summer fairs can be busy and noisy.

We cannot understand the complaints. The motorhome site is clean, centrally located, inexpensive, and has water and waste disposal plus electricity. You should really know that cars drive around the large car park. We have been here again for 4 days and feel absolutely comfortable and safe.
Great site close to the city at a fair price. It is a shame that the expanded spaces are not marked. This results in partly excessive gaps and missing spaces. Spaces are blocked by trailers. Or campers are not even willing to pay €10. The police should be more present there. Very noisy at night. Cars race across the site, honk after midnight, with music and shouting. Frightening!!!
Excellent, level car park along the river and convenient for visiting the city. The only downside is that there is little shade. Payment of €10 for 24 hours can only be made at the machine located near the service point. Attention: do not pay at the car parking meters.
Car park by the river, a short walk from the historic centre. Interesting for one night, €10 for 24 hours.
We stayed for two nights, from Friday to Sunday. Everything was great except that there was a lot going on in the car park every night: cars were revved up to top speed, car doors were slammed, people shouted, and someone even hit our motorhome... We did not feel comfortable or safe. What a shame!
Nice site, quiet at night, beautiful town with many restaurants and shopping opportunities. You can pay the pitch fee at the machine by the service point using EasyPark or Parkster. You just have to use the correct number in Parkster, “motorhome site.” I called and the town administration said they did not care whether you paid digitally or at the machine.
At least 40 spaces along the Isar. The first 14 have designated spacing of about 3 m between vehicles; the others are unmarked, so vehicles are packed together. Pitch length about 8 m; longer vehicles must park lengthwise along the Isar. Daytime noise from vehicles driving behind the motorhomes on gravel; quiet at night. Close to the centre. Waste and water facilities are easily accessible, even for large vehicles. No Wi-Fi.
Very conveniently located site on the Isar, not far from the old town, with electricity and water at extra cost, and toilet disposal for €10 per 24 hours. Many thanks for providing it.
Well-maintained site behind the huge car park, with at least 40 pitches and electricity along the Isar. The view of the Isar, when parked facing the right way, forward, is calming. The pedestrian and cycle path between them is entertaining. The water and waste facilities are very accessible and well maintained. I find the car park and main road somewhat disruptive.
Good parking area, friendly neighbors, quiet, clean, convenient. €10 for 24 hours, full services.
Well, that was a failure!!! The site is occupied by fairground stalls for the Spring Festival.
Very busy, probably because of the beautiful Christmas market right next door. Cars park in the motorhome spaces. Public toilets are accessible but smell very unpleasant.
In the large car park adjacent to the city centre, the spaces dedicated to motorhomes are spacious and level. It has electrical hook-ups and waste disposal and fresh-water facilities. For payment, use the machine near the facilities, which also issues the code for disposing of rubbish; it accepts coins and cards. Quiet night. We will return.
Parked well for 48 hours, payment with Visa was trouble-free. Wastewater can be disposed of free of charge; for the rubbish bin, use the code from the parking ticket. Of course, it is close to the city and not always quiet, but the Isar flows beautifully behind it, and you can take a hot shower at the municipal swimming pool for €1.
Functional motorhome site, very unsettled until late at night, public toilet closed for maintenance. Unfortunately, cars were also parked in the designated motorhome area. The centre is easily reachable on foot. Be careful in the car park; some people drive very fast!
Good location, good services, quiet at night.
Electricity costs €0.50 per kWh.
Motorhome site close to the centre, expanded to about 30 spaces with electricity, but these can quickly fill up. €10 is perfectly reasonable.
The price was increased this afternoon, 13/10/2025, to €10 per night. That is a steep price increase, but the site is worth it.
Central, level, electricity available. Parking cost us €5 for one night on 9 October. Public toilets are available, though we did not use them, so I cannot comment. Waste disposal is also free, for grey and black water. Downside: cars are often parked in the designated motorhome spaces.
Great that something like this is possible! Everything perfectly arranged.
Great site near the centre. Almost every space has an electrical connection. Quiet at night apart from typical city noises. Public toilets 100 m away. On 5/10/25, it was still €5 for 24 hours. The site is recommended.
The motorhome parking area is currently being substantially expanded—great that it is now legal to park on the gravel area along the Isar! Many thanks to the city of Landshut for this good and inexpensive site near the city centre! Update: from 6/10/2025, the site is expected to cost €10 per 24 hours.
For €5, a perfect site. Additional electricity pillars are also available in the gravel area beside the few paved spaces. The site is already full early in the afternoon. Many motorhomes also park in the large car park.
Very beautiful location. Great pitches for the price! Unfortunately, it is almost always full. Tip: all the gravel spaces by the water that are not marked as motorhome spaces are actually free and some also have access to electricity! I learned this by asking a traffic warden, of course only after I had paid the €5...
The spaces designated for motorhomes were occupied, so we joined about 20 other campers in the large car park. Good value for money for spending the night and exploring the town and castle.
Perfect city parking area. We liked it very much. Everything you need is available at a reasonable price. We spent three nights here and can recommend this place without reservation. Many thanks to the city of Landshut.
Attention, it is Dult!!!! The parking area is closed from now through and including August 31, 2025. Alternative options: the parking area at Sparkassenarena on Niedermayer-Straße in the southeast of the city (no services), or the municipal campsite in the Mitterwöhr district. I am a local motorhome user.....
We arrived today, unfortunately the setup work for a festival had already started. The entire area was closed.
We stopped to remove grey and black water, it was very easy and free. Drinking water possible after putting coins, 20cent=20l - 1 Euro=100l. Start/stop button that save paid but not used drinking water. No trash bin in camper service, only by regular ones along the river. Place is big and our 7,5m camper could easly parked there.
We arrived around 1:00 p.m. and there was still space; by around 3:00 p.m. it was completely full. Electricity is accessed through a payment terminal. Wastewater and fresh water are also well arranged. However, the public toilet was not very clean. There is an events area nearby, so the facilities are used by various people, including those from the parking area. It is close to the pleasant town.
We arrived at 6:00 p.m. and the official spaces were all occupied. We joined those without electricity, paying the motorhome fee at the camper-service terminal with coins only. Unfortunately, there is no respect for the spacing between campers in these spaces, and we were packed together like sardines. The center is within easy walking distance and very beautiful; it is definitely worth it.
Very nicely located. Only a few steps to the old town and the castle. Water costs €0.10 for 10 liters. Directly by the river with a view of the castle. The motorhome spaces were already occupied, but you can also park next to them. No electricity, but water is available. Great for stopping overnight. €5 for 24 hours.
Great place close to the city with everything you need. A lovely path along the Isar. We will definitely come back.
Very nice place, and for €5 you cannot do better.
