Illuminated, paved parking on the banks of the Douro beside a small commercial harbour, with easy access and space for 2 to 3 vehicles. The setting has river views and is generally calm, with a flat section before the field suitable for overnight stays. The area can be dirty, with a container nearby, and bells ring every 1/2 hours throughout the night, repeating each hour twice.

We spent a good night on the flat part of the parking area in front of the field.
A quiet and relaxing place, apart from the bells ringing every half hour all night, with the hours repeated twice (24 chimes at midnight)!!! Thank goodness for earplugs.
Quiet, somewhat dirty, with a dumpster next to it. Good for one night.

Beautiful, quiet place with a superb view of the Douro. Flat paved parking area. Riverside atmosphere—fishermen, boats, peaceful night. Two to three spaces.
