Camping Le Paradou

The campsite has a good location, with direct and idyllic access to the beach, BUT for €75 they gave us a pitch without a single tree. The bathrooms smelled of urine and reception closes for three hours at midday, so arriving afterward is rather desolate. On the positive side, the beach bar was pleasant and the late-night atmosphere with bingo as an activity was nice.✦Translating

The manager wanted €400 from us for six days: two people, a normal car, a tent and electricity. He said the price was reasonable because school holidays start next week. He also said the campsite was very clean, had direct beach access and offered many activities. He strongly emphasized things that should be taken for granted. We drove on. Unfortunately, the information is completely out of date. The campsite has been part of the CapFun group for three years, and the prices are no longer the same. We were quoted €94 for two nights with electricity and three dogs. When I expressed surprise, the manager agreed not to charge for the dogs, but it was still too expensive. No ACSI card. The site really has potential, and its location directly on the beach is a highlight. Unfortunately, there is no direct sea view because the dune is in between. At €24, this site is currently too expensive. The mixed washroom has no toilet paper and no toilet seats. That would all be acceptable if it were clean. It is okay, but improvements are needed. Personally, I do not like that the dishwashing sinks are in the same room.✦Translating

The pitches are small and sandy, with no shops within walking distance (15 minutes by bicycle). The washroom is extremely dirty. There was blood and feces on the toilet walls, despite the sign saying it had been cleaned. The shower runs for just five seconds before you have to press the button again. The only positive things are the sound of the sea and the beautiful playground for the children.✦Translating

Small pitches in the sand with an ant colony—we had ants all over the motorhome. The washroom is extremely hot because it is covered, with a feeling of abandonment despite the very friendly welcome and the takeover by the CapFun Clico Chic chain. Not far from the town center.✦Translating

Wow, this campsite is truly a hidden gem! We were there on a Friday afternoon in September, also unsuccessfully searching for a pitch on the coast near Montpellier. After numerous refusals, this wonderful surprise! Only €34 for a large motorhome including three people, soap and toilet paper, directly on the beach, and very friendly staff! We were looking for a campsite to spend two or three days in Marseillan... what a disappointment! Everything was full, so we settled for this soulless campsite, with pitches in the sand, and the price: €57 per night for a motorhome and two people. We left the next day. Apparently the campsite was bought by CapFun but is not yet in good condition.✦Translating

Unfortunately, it is very run-down. Everything is currently being renovated, so the site is still a construction zone. Many mobile homes are already there and more are being added. Currently unsuitable for motorhomes and vans. Even when we called, nobody came after 20 minutes. Water and electricity were switched off.✦Translating

Closed. Unfortunately, the site was sold at the end of 2022. The new owner, CapFun, has installed mobile homes. There are NO pitches anymore. Such a shame! Thanks to the good souls Sonja and Pascal, who ran the site so wonderfully over the years.✦Translating

Nice small campsite with good sanitary facilities. Rather narrow assigned pitches; check-out before 10 a.m.! No bakery within immediate walking distance. Family atmosphere and friendly fellow campers. €20.80 for one night with electricity, van, two people and a baby. Nothing was happening in the village at this time of year.✦Translating
