A flat wild spot beside the river, surrounded by nature and accessible by a good dirt track. It has no services, tables or bins, but recent reports describe the area as clean and peaceful, with birds and occasional moths. Mosquitoes can be severe, especially in summer or when conditions are damp. Depending on the wind, trains or the highway may be audible, and the site is 15/20 min from Palencia.

Perfect place for wild camping in dry weather beside the river; clean area. A few gnats and moths as soon as we turned on the lights.
Surrounded by nature, accessible, quiet, clean, with a few gnats and many birds.
It is a shame because it is peaceful, but clouds of mosquitoes forced me to leave.
As soon as we got out of the van, swarms of mosquitoes appeared. We continued on our way. A shame, because the site is quite pleasant.

A wonderful quiet park up next to the river. There are two places, a small one on the shore and a bigger parking like in the picture. No services so keep it clean. We were sheltered from the wind and only met some people fishing on the river. Easy access in van.
Quiet place away from everything and beside the river, ideal for spending one night. IMPORTANT NOTE: if you go in summer, do not trust the mosquito nets because they make no difference to the local wildlife and you will be filled with mosquitoes like in a Hitchcock movie. Close everything and wait for night; after about two hours of darkness it starts to get cool, and it is great with everything closed.
A great spot in the middle of nature. There is either a pitch at the end of a small descent, sheltered from the wind and sun, or a large one like in the first photo. Access via a very clean dirt track, absolute tranquility. The river is beautiful and serves as a reserve for many bird species. We let our cats out without any problem. Suitable for several nights.
Wonderful place on the banks of the river to spend the night in complete peace. Easy access and firm ground where you can sleep comfortably. There are no services, but it is worth stopping to rest here and enjoy the sound of the river at night beneath the starry sky. We will return.

Beautiful spot in the middle of nature, very quiet; you can only hear the birdsong and the river gently murmuring. You have to drive from the paved road along a dirt track, but it is very manageable. Highly recommended.
