3 Calle Ferrocarril Haro Ezcar, 26280, Ezcaray
Been here?
A free, clean and level motorhome parking area beside the river and close to Ezcaray village, with shade, benches, picnic tables and barbecues. It has no working motorhome services; recent reports say only the fountain functions, while the water points and disposal areas are blocked. The village and nearby paths are easily reached on foot. The municipal rules prohibit unfolding tables, chairs or awnings.

Motorhome parking area without services, in need of significant improvement. It was full of camper vans occupying the motorhome spaces and parking outside them as well. Chairs, tables, and awnings set up outside. Ezcaray deserves a motorhome area with services.Translating
A place with quite a few spaces, although we found it full. We were able to fit into some extra improvised spaces and everything was perfect! The place is cool and shaded, level, and practical for a 6.5 m motorhome. We are not giving it five stars because it has no functioning filling or emptying services. If it did, it would be a ten! A practical place.Translating
Free. In July 2026, the barriers are open and there are no services. It is a step from the village, well signposted, and very clean. The water services do not work; the drains are covered with metal plates. Even so, highly recommended.Translating
Spectacular site, close to the village and hiking trails. If they activated the services, it would be five stars.Translating
Excellent area in an excellent location. It is a shame that all the services are blocked (taps, black-water disposal, etc.) and that cars are allowed to park there.Translating
A beautiful place to sleep and relax, level, surrounded by nature, with water, shade, and benches. It lacks a waste-water disposal point, but otherwise it is a ten out of ten!Translating
The site is beautiful and clean, next to a riverside walk, and very peaceful. It is a shame that it has no services; the village is beautiful.Translating
We really like this area, especially in winter, because when the weather is good it fills up with vans and motorhomes parked on the grass even though the spaces are marked. People cook outside their vehicles, with chairs and tables outside as well. This creates a negative image that affects all of us. It will end up becoming paid and access-controlled; at least I would prefer that.Translating
For our second stay in this parking area, it quickly filled up for this weekend's Santa Barbara festival. It should not be considered a motorhome service area, since only the fountain works, but rather a beautiful, very quiet parking lot beside the greenway. Our only regret is the lack of bins.Translating
Excellent area; everyone has their own space with a green area included, and there are benches and picnic tables next to almost every space. A 10-minute walk from the village center. Spectacular views. There is also a designated barbecue area. No services. Very clean, in the middle of nature.Translating
An almost perfect area. For political reasons (the PP now governs the town council), they have closed all the services, turning the area into a parking lot. Even so, it is in a wonderful natural setting and within walking distance of the village, which is well worth visiting.Translating
A very well-maintained area with grills, a fountain, tables, and benches, and super quiet—not a sound. It is next to a green area, and one kilometer away there is a highly recommended via ferrata.Translating
Beautiful village with workshops making socks, blankets, and more—we loved it! The area has no services but is great. If you use Google Maps, it does not direct you correctly and took me to a dead-end street. I switched to Waze and it was fine, or follow the directions when entering the village. Before entering the village there is a very good Lupa supermarket.Translating
We cannot give it five stars because the water and cleaning services are closed. We believe the beautiful facilities, conveniently located a few minutes' walk from the village and hiking routes, are not yet finished. Ezcaray is beautiful and has plenty of dining options.Translating
Beautiful place with comfortable spaces near a very beautiful village. What a shame that the services are not operational.Translating
Good, new area, with tables and a barbecue option nearby, plus a fountain. Close to the village. At the moment, although the installation has been built, it has no services, which is a shame; otherwise it would be five stars. Thanks to the town council for the installation, and encouragement to finish it. Thank you.Translating
Well-located area a few minutes from the village center, clean, with level and spacious pitches. There are no services, although there used to be, since the control stations are still there. Even so, the area was clean and well maintained. We were extremely peaceful. Many thanks to the town council for keeping it open.Translating
Thanks to the town council and motorhome travelers for keeping this beautiful place clean. It would be excellent if they activated the services, which are installed but currently not working.Translating
As a parking and overnight area, it is great: quiet, spacious, well-marked spaces. It is not right in the village, but it is not far. However, it could have services; the station with taps and the toilet-dumping hatch are completely closed, so I cannot give it five stars.Translating
It is a shame that there are no proper services. It is right in the village and is a lovely area. We slept very well.Translating
We stayed here for a couple of days, and I felt ashamed of people who think being a motorhome traveler means renting or buying a motorized home. No, it is much more than that: among other things, it means not parking on the grass when there are marked paved spaces, emptying gray water where appropriate—or taking it with you in your tank if there is no facility—and taking rubbish to a bin. It is a shame that these people do not represent the majority of us. Beautiful area in lovely green surroundings, with tables and barbecues and a short walk from the beautiful village. Filling and emptying facilities are missing, although they are installed; otherwise, perfect. Many thanks to the Ezcaray town council for this place.
It could be an excellent paid area because it is well designed, pleasant, in a beautiful location, and close to the municipality. It is a shame that, despite having the facilities ready and having spent municipal money to create them, they are not recovering that investment by offering the services at a suitable price, which would also create a maintenance job.
If it had water filling and emptying services and rubbish bins, it would be a ten out of ten.
It is a shame that they do not provide the services despite having the facilities. It is slightly uneven, with concrete pitches; the area is very beautiful, and the surroundings are lovely. There are two nearby barbecues and a picnic table or two. We will definitely return!
This is beautiful and clean, a very good find.
There is no water or anything else, but the site is spectacular; there is a short walk to the village.
Excellent motorhome area; it’s a shame that the facilities don’t work and there aren’t even any rubbish bins. There’s a very pleasant walk to the beautiful village. Since they went to the trouble of creating this fantastic area, the least they could do is keep it in good working order. As it is, it’s not an area but a car park.
It is unfortunate that the water filling and grey- and black-water dumping facilities have been closed; it is a well-located and well-maintained area.
If it had facilities, it would be perfect... Otherwise, great.
Fantastic area. The facilities are currently closed. It may soon become paid. I would be pleased about that, as everything would be much better and motorhome owners more civic-minded. Dog owners, please keep your dogs on a leash; this is not a dog-racing track.
It’s a shame that the PP-run council has closed the facilities, which is disgraceful given the number of motorhomes. They even removed the rubbish container.
Parking without facilities. Quiet. Judging by the posts at the entrance, the aim seems to be to turn it into a paid area. Thanks.
Very quiet, clean and safe place, less than 15 minutes’ walk from the town centre and its outstanding restaurants. There is even one with two Michelin stars.
Full of cars that could park elsewhere, while lots of motorhomes are left without a space. This is starting to become worrying.
We slept very peacefully, alongside several other vehicles. The area is very beautiful. As others have mentioned, there are no facilities. It is free.
Quiet place; as fellow travellers have mentioned, all the facilities are missing. In any case, thanks to the council for at least providing this.
The place is very quiet and peaceful in September. There is a lack of a rubbish container. No service works—drinking water, grey water or black water—so you need to arrive prepared: drinking water tank full, grey-water tank empty and toilet cassette empty.
A wonderful aire and a fabulous town. It was very busy when we stayed - the last weekend of the August holidays AND La Vuelta passing through. No services but a water fountain in the park. Plenty of shade. SUPER peaceful at night with no road nearby and no bins to empty! Manoeuvring can be tight in/out of some bays for larger vehicles. Via verde runs right beside the aire. Flea market on Saturdays.
We stopped to rest and spend the night. There are no facilities, but we didn’t need them. It is very crowded. We went into the village for some wine; it was very pleasant with a good atmosphere.
Very peaceful! There are tables, a barbecue, benches and a fountain. There is lots of shade and at night it is pleasantly cool for sleeping. Very close to the centre. Don’t hesitate, but it fills up quite a lot in the afternoons. Tables and chairs may not be taken out. From June to October, you may not collect firewood or use fire in non-approved equipment because of the risk of fire.
There is nothing at all: no water and no type of dumping facility. Completely prohibited. Bad, terrible.
Very convenient and quiet, with the possibility of having a barbecue right next to it.
