Free parking near the monastery on a partly level surface. The location is useful for a short stop, but it can be affected by road noise, freight trains and aircraft. The monastery provides an attractive view, especially early in the morning. People are rarely present, although the area has occasionally been disturbed at night.

The spot is quite good for a stopover. Not very quiet. Freight trains and airplanes. But hardly any people around.
I had a quiet, safe night between two other campers. For a free parking spot, you really can't complain.
Great spot. Very quiet and level. And early in the morning, a wonderful view of the monastery.
At 2 a.m., some teenagers arrived by car and enjoyed annoying us with their stereo turned all the way up. In the morning, all their McDonald's rubbish was scattered around the site. What a shame.
Quite okay. Level ground, usually full from midday onward. Very noisy road, especially at weekends. The monastery is well worth seeing.
Great parking area. We arrived late and left again in the morning. There was one other motorhome besides us. There was still plenty of space. Not very quiet. Freight trains and airplanes. But hardly any people around. The toilet at the Hermitage costs 50 cents.
