Lit parking, rubbish nearby

Perfectly adequate for an overnight. Yes there’s rubbish but you can avoid. Friendly police officer came to chat with us. Shop nearby and there are lights in the car park that worked.

Unacceptable place. Completely run-down site in a pitch-dark area—really very unsettling. We then spent the night a little farther away on the “main road”; it was dirty too and not our first choice, but quite okay.

Cars came and went, with young people chatting until 4 a.m.; at 6:30 an endless number of garbage trucks arrived, making noise until at least 8.

We spent one night here on December 24. We had a “quiet” night with no problems. We only heard fireworks for about 30 minutes. Our dog is very frightened, so she was stressed for two hours and could not sleep. But that always happens around Christmas and New Year. The spot is great, although there is some litter.

Quiet spot right by the sports grounds, with no prohibition signs. Ideal for a short break or a walk with the dog. We stopped at midday; everything was clean, and there is a large rubbish bin, but no other services. Close to the motorway, yet pleasantly quiet.

The site would actually be good. But at night young men (?) made inconsiderate noise and raced recklessly around the parking area in two cars. Apart from the disturbance, we did not feel they always had control of their vehicles. We were afraid our motorhome would be hit. We were relieved when they finally left at 2:00 a.m.

Very good, slightly outside the town, spacious and level. A few streetlights at night. No traffic except people visiting the sports grounds, which are closed at night, so it is very quiet. Be careful on the unpaved access road, which is short but rather narrow, with a few branches and potholes.

Absolutely fine for one night while passing through. The motorway is nearby, but you cannot hear it at night. We slept very well. One point deducted because, apart from a rubbish bin at the sports ground, there are no services. As mentioned, very good for a quiet night en route; nobody disturbed us.
