A roadside daytime parking place on a hillside, close to the town centre and seafront. A long staircase across the street leads directly to the promenade and beach, about a 1 minute walk away. It is on a busy, continuously trafficked road, may be difficult for larger motorhomes, and has signs prohibiting motorhomes and vans.

(September 2025) Not bad for visiting the city for free.
Good parking, with a one-minute walk to the village seafront. We parked an L2H3; it could be difficult for a larger motorhome. Daytime parking only, as it is on a busy road.
There are several prohibition signs stating that motorhomes and vans may not park there.
Good and safe for a day trip. Noisy, with continuous traffic.
