This free parking area is about 15 minutes from Castiglione del Lago castle, with a playground, a large green area and shade beneath the pine trees. It is suitable for a quiet overnight stop and is lit at night. Freshwater can be collected easily through the threaded tap. The neighbourhood is generally calm.

Quiet night. On August 14 the car park was completely empty. Recommended for visiting Castiglione sul Lago.
Level parking spaces, although with a 6-metre vehicle you have to park lengthwise in the direction of travel, contrary to the marked spaces. Lit at night. Easy to fill with fresh water using a screw fitting. Shade under the pine trees. Solo female travelers should be careful around the local men. They are very pushy and ask about sex.
Ideal for a short stopover in a very quiet area. The night passed peacefully, without noise or disturbance. Do not forget to take a short visit to the historic centre.
Free, quiet parking for spending the night. The fountain works and provides drinking water.
