A small, peaceful car park where one-night stays have been reported without problems, but camping is not allowed. It is mainly used by dog walkers and is unsuitable for vans over 6.5 metres. A park and duck pond provide nearby walking, while Shanklin town centre and Shanklin Chine are about a 10 minute walk away. The area is free, with bins and good internet signal reported.

Stayed here for one night, it's not a big carpark but we had no issues in our campervan. very peaceful night sleep with a nice big park for walking your dog the morning after. good internet signal when we was here. also plenty of bins around the park.
2nd time we have used this. Small car park mainly used by dog walkers. No signs so we stayed overnight again. Several pubs, tea shops and restaurants nearby. Lovely little find .
Stopped here a number of times over the years and very quite over nighter. Popular with local dog walkers so please be thoughtful as not suitable for vans over 6.5 metres. Locals are saying only for smaller motorhomes. This is the only parking near enough so you can walk and visit Shanklin Chine - a real gem to see. Good 3 phone signal.
Perfect free park up. Short walk into Shanklin town centre and Chine. Hard to find a complete level space but can’t complain as peaceful night sleep and lovely pond with ducks!!
Great park up next to a park and duck pond. Busy during the day with dog walkers but could easily park after 6pm. No parking signs so we were able to park overnight. 10 minute walk to Shanklin old town & Shanklin Chine.
Perfect place to relax, walk the pups and enjoy the beautiful countryside
