Been here?
A secluded wild spot among trees with a terrace and an exceptional view, offering a large flat area at the top. Access is difficult and steep, with deep ruts, rain damage and loose ground; a short, high-clearance vehicle and careful driving are needed. Some vehicles have failed to reach it, while others made it with vans or ordinary cars. The maximum height is about 3m, and nights are usually very quiet despite some evening road noise.

We couldn't make it up. The road was badly eroded, with huge potholes. I didn't dare try it, and normally I'm quite brave.
Magnificent!!! A little difficult to access; the photo showing the ruts accurately represents the road. You need a fairly short vehicle with good ground clearance, and be careful on the descent because it is slippery. You need to be confident in your manoeuvring, but it is possible. You can set up your table a little higher up to admire the bay, while remaining well hidden from the road.
The location matches the description. A little road noise in the evening, but very quiet at night. Access is not easy, but we managed to get up with a Peugeot Expert. Magnificent sunset when parked near the water reservoir just above.
Nice and quiet, well hidden from the main road! The access road has some rain damage but there’s a fairly big flat area at the top.
Really nice spot, set back from the road. Very little, if any, traffic at night. I was not disturbed. Access is fine if you straddle the ruts.
Magnificent view and an extremely quiet location. However, beware of the climb, which is very hazardous! There are deep ruts, and at the top of the first slope the ground is so loose that the tyres spin. We almost gave up. We tried again with more speed, and made it. Take the second slope in reverse. We got up in a Trafic H1L1. Avoid if your tyres are worn.
Very beautiful spot directly beside the road with a fantastic view. Another motorhome/van, probably without four-wheel drive, arrived after us and managed the climb easily. So far, one of the most beautiful places we have visited.
Beautiful place with incredible views, but be very careful on the climb. The dirt track is completely cracked. We made it up with a Trafic, but only just.
Amazing spot. We made it with a Subaru XV. Very quiet night, breakfast with view in the morning. I confirm, best way is first climb straight and second in reverse. We found it clean, we left it clean. Please, repeat ;)
Today we couldn't get up with a long VW T6 4M because of the deeply eroded ruts. An experienced driver without nervous passengers could probably manage it.
Great spot, we spent the night here and slept very well! But we kept a low profile so we wouldn't be seen from the road below. The access road is a little tricky because of the climb, but we made it up in a Jumpy, driving forward.
Extraordinary view, very discreet and quiet despite vehicles passing below. The path up to the spot is quite steep, but we made it with a Golf IV.
Beautiful, peaceful place sheltered from view. Access is not difficult; just check the route before going. Taking the second ascent in reverse, as mentioned below, is a great idea!
