Pond parking, sloping ground

5 stars: the only free and authorized parking area for motorhomes in Pornic. Sloped. We spent two nights there; quiet and very close to the town center. We recommend it.

With a 7.10 m motorhome, we spent two quiet nights. In the morning, walkers and joggers park there, but it remains quiet nevertheless. Superb pond and walking path all around it. Skate park, volleyball court, and exercise area on the opposite bank. We highly recommend it; it is excellent.

Isolated from the road but noisy.

I was lucky to get a spot. The parking area is quite popular with fishermen during the day. A 15-minute walk from the port via a lit pedestrian path. Clean area with access to a recycling bin. Perfect for a quiet overnight stop.

Free parking area, ideal for one night. Fishermen and walkers leave their vehicles there; 1.5 km from the town center. We had a good night.

Our motorhome is 6.20 m long. Parking is excellent in the middle of the day, as walkers come to park and walk their dogs. The town center is 15 minutes on foot. The night was quiet. We recommend it.

Ideal quiet place at the foot of the greenway, 5 minutes from Pornic. The pond attracts fishermen who may park early (6:30 a.m. for us), but they are very respectful. We were alone the first night and there were three of us the second night. Recycling bins and rubbish bins at the entrance to the parking area.

The space was really nice, beside a beautiful walking trail and walkable distance to the main town. Unfortunately rude school kids from the nearby school threw stones at our van so wouldn’t recommend.

Perfect for a break or an overnight stay... Pornic town center is 20 minutes on foot via a cycle path. Thank you for this place.

Quiet place and good for walking around the lake. Too bad it is sloped. School traffic.

Sloped grounds, unfortunately, so I left. Access has potholes. Recycling bins on site are a plus.

Good location for 20 min walk into town, but other than that pretty bland. Flat, a few other campers, no services. Nothing exciting to report

Very quiet night; you hear nothing compared with the daytime, when the highway can be heard. No services, but selective recycling, which is appreciated. A small path leads to a cute little pond. No height restriction; maximum 5 motorhomes or vans. We left our van there to go to Pornic center, 2 km on foot, passing through a lovely little garden with koi carp. Follow the small signs carefully.
